I made the appointment two months ago and today was the first available appointment. I was so afraid I would forget something. (ADHD man - it's a hard world for us!) Anyway, I got there and got clear instructions on what to do, and then was quickly called back by Zachovia (apologies if my spelling is off!) she was efficient and businesslike and she got it all taken care of so quickly - what a relief! Anyway I just wanted to say this went very smoothly thanks to her! I did hear someone's appointment get canceled because they hadn't already filled out the needed forms when they got here for their appointment, so I do recommend you get everything you need printed up and filled out before you get here because they don't play! Best of luck to anybody trying to navigate this process who has lost important documents needed for the Real ID. Luckily I have a current passport and that really made all the difference along with my ss card and drivers license. If you have time and money to do it, I recommend getting a passport first because it makes the rest of it so much less of an ordeal and I think the process may even be less stressful. Plus you might want to be able to leave the country in the next decade. :)

Well I got to the office about 11:30 this morning, finished up and out the door by 12:45. You can book an appointment on line so your wait may not be that long. When you get there you log into and make a selection of either sitting there or requesting a text when it is your turn. I opted for the text message but still sat in the waiting room. There are about 15 chairs and they are always full. You can wait out side on the picnic table. Mine probable took longer being I was a New Resident and changing over a lot of items. They have one window dedicated to dealers so they can come in and be out sooner. Most people I saw were doing renewals and some other issues. Debra helped me out in getting both of my vehicles registered and my Disabled Veteran's plates. She was very professional and courteous, great conversation as we moved along in the process. She is a true and real asset to this office. All of the other ladies in all of their transaction were very professional in their dealing with the public. I did not see anyone leaving the office angry or frustrated. Keep up the great work you and a true asset to the city and county.

If anyone come across the issue or need a birth certificate,. I will get involved with the state that your from vital records department instead of an online website itself instead of going through some private website to try to recover your birth certificate, or any other sensitive important paperwork ....with that. I had a deadline of having to apply for Medicare since I turned 65 I got in contact with the state of Maryland, which sent my original birth certificate, which took two weeks, drove to the Temple Social Security office. Talk to a young (Hispanic lady) everything was taken care of because socialsecurity.gov would not register me and wanted me to appeal my case on line because I guess some information that they received say that I was not born in 1960 the information ssa.gov received I was born in 1966, in which 1966 was the wrong birthdate, It is worth the wait for any problems that you have to resolve with Social Security and Temple their staff was very professional. I have an attachment that showed my waiting number and date that I went to the Temple social Security agency .
