I like the self serve postal machine when it is fully operational. I've been going to this post office for over 20 years. I wish they kept their doors open outside of working hours to drop off packages at any time. I guess they have their reasons, so no biggie. Our postal guy has been so friendly towards my Golden Retriever. She likes to greet him when we are out on walks. Overall, no complaints, good service.

I've…read moredefinitely put off sending packages before just because I don't feel like wrestling with this USPS location. There is always a line of at least three people waiting to be helped. They only ever have two clerks at a time when there are five or six desks. And the clerks that they have aren't extremely efficient. Sometimes they'll chat with customers or disappear into the back for a couple of minutes while helping someone (I'm sure whatever they're doing back there is related to the transaction, but they certainly aren't hurried). I've had kind clerks and rude clerks, but the manager of this location is my least favorite to deal with. He's always been short with me and doesn't like to answer questions. When I went to get my passport renewed, I was told that I needed to make an appointment. I found this kind of silly as all I needed to do was turn in some paperwork, but I complied. When I showed up for my appointment time, they were running behind by 30 minutes. There is also no separate room for the passport procedure, so they take you at the desk like everyone else. It can get confusing, as there is only one line for the passport customers and the mail customers. They really should rethink the logistics of their passport renewal process. Basically, the service is meh and don't come here when you're in a rush! They do have a package machine in the front lobby that's open 24 hours a day, which is pretty convenient.

Just outright lying, or laziness and I was outside from 9:00 till 10:15 this morning never tried in fact I didn't even see a mail vehicle. Must be nice to have a job you can just say screw it because there's something else you want to do that day so you want to get off early. Unacceptable, unprofessional the carrier should at a minimum get a few days off. Dishonesty is not acceptable for any reason.

I live…read moreon the third floor of an apartment building, and have had packages (including mail order medication) tossed and left at my door. I have seen my neighbors packages left by the front door of building, for anyone to take, as well. Fragile items are no exception - I had a box with perfume and a few other fragile items delivered today, and I clearly heard the mailman toss my package to my door from the landing . I find it especially innapropriate that they leave prescription mail order medicine at the door. They are damn lucky I am not a diabetic or taking any medication that would gravely affect my health if it was stolen. It's also worth noting, the mail person also rarely knocks on the door to let me know it's arrived. I get MUCH better delivery service through Amazon and FedEx. I called to complain after my mail order medicine was left at the door, and was informed by a higher up that it's actually against their policy. The mail man even noted in records that he left the front door. Thankfully the person I spoke with was very professional, and understood how serious leaving medicine at the door is, and took care of the situation.

Where do I begin? We had a carrier who refused to deliver to our home's new mailbox because she…read moreclaimed it wasn't in compliance. It took me three visits to the CL post office to get a manager to visit and confirm my mailbox in fact was compliant. After the carrier continued to refuse to deliver our mail, the manager had to hide out and catch her in the act. She was then removed from the route. A week later, our mailbox was hit with a bat or other object overnight and sustained significant damage. This, folks, is your tax dollars at work!
