I was rushing through my errands to make sure I made it to the post office before lunch break, and I made it! Apparently everyone else in town had the same idea because the line started getting longer and longer as I'm standing in it. The thing was, though, nobody was rude or impatient. In fact a patron brought her puppy inside and it behaved. Although puppy dog knew it would get treats from Amy, but the surprise was it was just as patient waiting her turn to get to the counter. Customer service here is fantastic! Don't let the line scare you and you'll be just fine. read more

Horrible customer service!!!! The "post master" was very nonchalant with my concern and confusion about my situation. I was making a payment and was unsure if I needed to give it to him or what. He took my check and just dropped it on the counter as if it was unimportant and said, "I'll make sure "they" get it. I said that's my rent check please don't be careless with it like that because I don't want it to get mixed up or lost in the abyss of all this mail! I just didn't like his attitude. Tip of advice to the miserable middle-aged man working 1/8/25: don't get a job interacting with people if you don't have the ability to be a decent human being. I would suggest maybe a data entry job where you don't have to speak to anyone. I knew before I even interacted with this individual it was going to be a fun time because of the interaction he had with the people in front of me in line. He was so rude to them, followed the same with me. His energy alone was enough to damper my own mood. Very unfortunate and hope he finds his happiness. It seems the mail carriers in Haslet consistently lose mail and packages, place them in the wrong mailbox or perhaps steal them. Whatever the case, I reported that a package was not delivered to my mailbox and filed a claim. I showed where I had to reorder the item because I never received it. My claim was denied and they refused to refund me the almost $100 I lost because the mail carrier claimed it had been delivered to my mailbox. IT WAS NOT DELIEVERED TO MY MAILBOX. I appealed the claim and filed again and they again have denied it saying it showed the package was delivered to my mailbox. IT WAS NOT. SO, they mail carriers lie and get away with it. This is the worst post office I have ever dealt with in any city that I have lived in. I have never had these issues before. Whomever supposedly received my order if that is the case is also a thief and didn't even bother to contact me or drop off my package. This is unacceptable. If the carrier would have at least admitted delivering it to the wrong mailbox and we could have settled this I would have been ok with it. But the fact they they misdeliver and lie or steal the item just makes me disgusted and if post offices get shut down because of govt being revamped so be it. I recently just move here 2 days looking for a usps office to ship our product daily. I search it came up with this location forgot to look at his name tag but he should know that he was not suppose to wear a hat while on his job. there was a client before me and he didnt even want to answer the question and sent him off. Then it was my turn, i've shipping my products for years and never been told that ground shipping will take at least ten days for arrival. Next he said he couldnt put the label on my packages because they were to small but i told him I have been shipping them for years and he told me the usps office i've been going to is violated usps rule. Then I tried to ask him a question and he said "I couldnt understand you!" It get to the point i was laughing at him and asking him did he have a bad day or something because i have never got into this situation. Poorest service from this location I have ever had from USPS front desk is incredibly helpful; however their delivery personnel must be tested and passed/hired only if they show the inability to read or comprehend numbered sequences(you know those silly things called an address. Over the past two years we have gone through a constant stream of new delivery folks each inept in their own unique fashion. I used to reach out to my neighbors letting them know I had their mail it happened so often we jokingly referred to it as the hostage exchange! NO MORE! I will not continue to subsidize a system that fails and delivery personnel that are lazy or just do not care! read more

I have been to this post office 4 times asking for access to my mailbox. I even payed the 39$ fee to get a new lock put on and new keys. Each time I contact them they say to leave my name and number instead of just taking care of it. The carrier is obviously not doing his job By changing the lock. My package was lost. I have been waiting for a USPS associate to contact me back for two weeks now. I went to I ask about updates on my package, and the person asking his coworker if he knew anything about it, is the same person who took my information TWICE. Now, they left a key in my parcel with no package! I was home all day and they said that no one was available?? Apparently they left a slip..... not on my door! They don't even make an attempt. I went there today and it appeared a postal worker went " postal" with multi-colored signs taped all over the walls telling people to make sure you have the address on on your package, we won't supply tape you need to buy it. It was just sad to see the lack of kindness to people demonstrated this way. I was even locked in because they lock the doors for lunch , until They took care of another lady before they unlock the door to let me leave. Other locations have regularly taken days to track and ship my 3 day priority items or do not provide tracking at all. Having recently moved here from Mesquite, Texas we've been continually shocked at the misdirected mail problems from this post office. Complaining does no good. So far going to the next step up line has yielded no change. Most people whom we've spoken to say the same thing... repeated missed delivery and delivery to wrong address. Informed Delivery is not effective here, either. We used it for a year before moving here and found it pretty accurate. Not so with this office. We will NOT let this drop. Haslet post office has gotten even worse than it was & I didn't think that was possible! We've lived here 10yrs. The last few months I'm constantly getting mail that belongs a street over, so we end up taking it to them ourselves. Now, I've been waiting on a package I ordered through Amazon Prime. It was supposed to be delivered last Thursday, when I went to look at tracking on Friday it still showed in transit since the day before. It arrived to Haslet, they transferred it to Weatherford, then it went to Dallas before coming back to Haslet. Now, it says it was delivered today (Monday), which isn't true, I've been here ALL DAY! No notice slip, no package, nothing...now I can't get anyone to pick up the phone to even find out where my package actually is!! I will never order anything that sends through the USPS.
