As I'm shipping out to a new location, I wanted to speak with a UPS agent about options for pre-mailing some of my stuff back home. I just called the UPS Store (Carbondale, IL location) and spoke with a young woman who told me, "We're just a retail store (?) and I can't answer any questions about anything. Call back tomorrow and speak with my manager." ??? Why even answer the phone if you "can't answer any questions about anything"? Why can't an employee answer simple shipping questions without having the manager take the call? Very strange. And very unprofessional. I'll be finding an alternative for shipping--maybe FedEx or one of the many smaller shipping options that include storage on the other end. Companies need to realize that customer service is as important as the product being offered.

Vienna Post Office #59 Visited 06/10/16 @ 1230PM…read moreLocation: 207 E Vine St, Vienna, IL 62995 We were in the town of Vienna doing some genealogy research and stopped into the quaint Post Office for Vienna. The inner section is all PO boxes where you can pick up the mail, if you have mail coming to this location. But the real fun is the main processing part of the Post Office. It's basically one huge room where all the mail is processed for shipping and receiving. I decided to get a post card and send it out to my sister, thinking it will never make it (surprising - it made it by Monday - shocking!) -- but it did. As I was there, I noticed that they had new stamps out - and me being the space cadet I am, decided to but two sets of 'Views of the Planets' Forever stamps. Very nice set of stamps...but of course PLUTO is missing from the collection, oh snap! I was helped by Debra -- very nice lady who was working behind the counter. Two thumbs up if you stop in town and need something mailed!

There were 2 trucks parked in the driveway with enough room for 1 more (I know this because my kids are able to park between them when they come over).
