Phenomenal. I…read moreordered my ACs and wanted to bump up the installation date because it started to get unseasonably warm in the city and they were able to accommodate. Jim and his guy arrived right within the delivery window Jim specified and he called (then texted when I missed his call which was much appreciated) to let me know their ETA. When they arrived and found that one of the units didn't fit in the window, they had another one in the van that they were able swap it out with instead. I appreciated that they were ready to handle issues like this without it resulting in a second trip. Because the unit that would fit in the window was smaller than the one I ordered, there was of course a price difference in what I paid for vs. what was being installed and Jim let me know he'd be refund the difference without my asking. That spoke volumes about his business' ethics to me. Worth mentioning: Also without my asking, I noticed Jim removed his shoes when he was installing an AC unit in my bedroom (probably because he saw I was barefoot). I thought that was incredibly considerate and as someone who never writes reviews, that is the reason I'm writing this review. Really professional service, the units are super clean, and all-in-all, the whole process from booking to installation was a seamless experience. Definitely don't hesitate to book with these guys, it's worth every penny.

I had a 23 year old wall unit that was on its last legs. Jerry wanted pictures of the unit, model and make, the receptacle and plug configuration, and the exact measurements of the existing unit. I moved into a building managed by Nordblom, and they have strict policies about A/C installers…read more Concept Equipment was listed as an approved vendor. Now I see why. They know what they're doing, and they do it exceedingly well. At first I thought I'd save money by purchasing air conditioner units from Amazon, but the number of reviews about units broken in the mail didn't make me confident that the discount would be so worthwhile. I could have gone to a big box store, but with crazy heat & humidity, that didn't seem worth the schlep. So I called Concept. Brad was very knowledgeable about the building I was moving into, and he gave me well-reasoned suggestions about BTU size & brands. He also had an excellent sense of humor, which helped put me at ease, as the total extent of my knowledge of A/C units is based on experiences 2 decades ago in Florida. Zach and Ray, the friendly installers, came right on time. The 2 units were up and running in about 5 minutes, with proper holes drilled for frame screws, and weather-stripping insulation in place. Ray went over the operation of each unit thoroughly & patiently--he demonstrated all the digital functions, and also how to clean the filters. I'd never seen window air conditioners properly installed before, and wow, am I ever impressed! So much better looking than any installation I or my friends or my friends' fathers have done. And Brad was absolutely right about the size of the units. Now that I'm moved in, they are cooling the rooms beautifully. It sure pays to pay for quality service. I'm so glad I saved myself lots of aggravation and went with Concept.

There is a fairly new oil burner in the basement of my apartment which was installed by Thermoil my landlady has a contract with them and therefore they do the service and maintenance on the oil burner. Last weekend I found myself without heat in the middle of the night , I was pretty sure I had not run out of oil , It was warm enough that heat wasn't an issue but I wasn't too happy about the possibility Of taking a freezing cold shower In a chilly apartment ..I had to be in work fairly early and didn't have time to check out the situation with the heat until I got home in the afternoon ....When I checked the gauge on my oil tank I found that I had over a half tank of oil ...I was glad about that but now what's going on ? I called my landlady who is very elderly and wasn't able to get an answer from her phone which was off the hook for 24 hours . When I finally reached her 24 hours later the landlady's son promised to call Thermoil in the morning leaving me for 3 full days without heat and hot water !! I was forced to stay home from work to take care of everything and make sure I got my heat back ...I called Thermoil around noon on Monday only to find my landlady never called !!! I was frantic at that point I contacted Thermoil myself and the secretary Adrina who was very helpful assisted me in trying to reach my landlady. My landlady's son came over during the day and tried to restart the furnace which eventually went off again Thermoil was diligent about making contact with my landlord , They were at my apartment first thing the next morning Performed all necessary maintenance on the oil burner to get it up and running again and even called me to make sure everything was running properly ! That's excellent customer service even more so since we had a bad experience in the past ....I feel Adrina and the staff at Thermoil went out of their way to make things right and for that I am very grateful Thanks Thermoil
