Both areas were original to our 1990 Cumberland home and were overdue for renovation. Prior to retirement I worked continuously with the construction industry for forty plus years (first as a practicing architect and then as a facilities administrator for a local health organization), I know that all renovation projects have problems (unforeseen conditions, subcontractor scheduling difficulties, and material delays). It is important to have a trustworthy contractor that acts and openly communicates when these things occur. The Bradford team are good people and they delivered. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I was crystal clear with Dalton my main goal was to make sure my puppy could not get out of the back yard. He said he understood. If he undestood, he didnt deliver. He left huge gaps at the bottom of the fence and gates that my Yorkie easily slipped thru. He assured me that he would fix it, which he did not. On top of building the fence, I paid him to stain it. He did a terrible job on that too. He said he would fix that when he came back to fix the gaps in the fence. He didnt do that either. I paid him to buy supplies for another project he was going to do for me. He stole the supplies and never did the project. My 80 year old mother in law paid him to do a project for her. He ripped her off by doing half the job and never returning. He has excuses for every scenario and nothing is his fault. The owner of Quality Nest Developments, Dalton Wisner, is a liar and a thief. Save yourself a headache and grief, do not hire Quality Nest Developments to do work for you.

NEVER had a full crew, just one guy most of the time for an almost 3 story building. No spotters. No masks used. Very poor communication between owner of this business and owner of property. Noticeable paint chipping off building after 2 coats and employee was heard to be saying that "they" meaning tenants and or landlord were picking paint off around windows. No proper direction given to employee from owner of company. No communication given to landlord when they were showing up. This company is unsat. Tons of pictures have been taken. He was professional, gave me options, and accommodated a change I wanted before the project started. I was impressed with him! Unfortunately, that's where things went down hill. Alec was responsive via text, but he sent two guys to my house that did not speak English, making it impossible to communicate, parked on the edge of my lawn, tearing it up, did a shoddy job installing the pillars, and did not respect my property. They didn't use ladders or their own things to prop up my roof while they replaced the columns. Instead, they used cinder blocks they found somewhere to stand on and used some old warped boards that I stack firewood on to prop up my roof instead! The wood was not meant for that! We're lucky they did not collapse. Worse, they cut one of them without my permission, and I still don't know where one of the 2x4s is. As for the work itself, the columns they put up were not straight, one was not plumb at all, and there was no consideration for which direction the knots in the wood faced. I know the work was not finished, but they would have left them that way had I not said anything to Alec. The only reason I'm not giving 1 star is because Alec sent someone to fix the problems the next day before they trimmed them. I'm happy that many of the mistakes were corrected, and I have something solid in place that I can work with later, but I am disappointed with the overall quality and the lack of professionalism shown to my property. I could have done this level of work. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend them. Edit: Alec reached out and offered me a partial refund. I accepted, but he didn't send it. Haven't heard from him since.
