Absolute garbage. He used to be my primary doctor and I stopped going a few years ago. I had…read moredeveloped a staph infection from a cut on my lower back. I went in and he prescribed me antibiotics and pain meds. The area became so swollen and infected that I could barely walk when I went back in. He refused to drain it and prescribed me more meds. I was able to drain it myself but at that point it had gotten massive and I now have a scar the size of my pinky finger from it that could've been prevented if he had just drained it when it was smaller. But wait.. it gets better. I got really sick around this time and kept going in to his office with breathing problems. He prescribed me allergy meds galore. Then came the full body rash which he first said was allergies and then decided I had full body ringworm. More meds prescribed. Next was oral thrush. At this point I was so out of it I felt like my body was going to give out. He prescribed more meds for oral thrush and suggested I had HIV and sent me for testing. I was terrified. The test came back negative. This entire time I was still suffering from "severe allergies" but I went back in once again because I was so tired that I could barely get out of bed. Thank god an intern was there that day. The intern came in, looked at my chart, listened to my breathing and knew right away that I had pneumonia. Xrays confirmed it. Took an intern five minutes to give a correct diagnosis that this pathetic excuse of a doctor couldn't catch over all that time. And the entire reason I had pneumonia was because I was being prescribed so many meds for the staph infection and was in so much pain that I was just laying down all day... something that could've been prevented if my staph would've been lanced and drained. The new doctor I switched to was horrified when I went over what happened. Steer clear of this guy. He's rude to his patients, doesn't care about his patients, and only seems to be interested in rushing you in and out. Can confirm with other reviews I've read that he has a very egotistical attitude and blatantly neglects his duties.

The past 20 + years was good but wasn't able to be seen by the actual Dr. Lloyd the past 7 or 8 years, I can't remember when I actually saw him, but I understand the game. Other "doctors" in his office took over so I went with it. I had my son added when he was 18 last year and that took effort to get him an insurance card with Lloyd on it to get him in as a new patient because it was a pediatrician before that. Now a year later I call to get him an appointment for an upcoming surgery referral, the nurse that answered said my son had been dropped for missing an appointment. 20 plus years from Dr Buchanan and I have my wife and daughter as Dr Lloyd patients and they deny my son as a patient right before an upcoming surgery that needed scheduling. No questions from the nurse that took my call as to why my son needed to see the doctor, just a "sorry no new patients but I can put you on a waiting list" Now I'm searching for a good doctor for me and my family and hopefully I can find one that knows his patients.
