12-13-2023 I've been with Dr. Lloyd since he opened his office. I was a Dr Buchanan patient and…read morewhen he retired I transferred to Lloyd. The past 20 + years was good but wasn't able to be seen by the actual Dr. Lloyd the past 7 or 8 years, I can't remember when I actually saw him, but I understand the game. Other "doctors" in his office took over so I went with it. I had my son added when he was 18 last year and that took effort to get him an insurance card with Lloyd on it to get him in as a new patient because it was a pediatrician before that. Now a year later I call to get him an appointment for an upcoming surgery referral, the nurse that answered said my son had been dropped for missing an appointment. 20 plus years from Dr Buchanan and I have my wife and daughter as Dr Lloyd patients and they deny my son as a patient right before an upcoming surgery that needed scheduling. No questions from the nurse that took my call as to why my son needed to see the doctor, just a "sorry no new patients but I can put you on a waiting list" Now I'm searching for a good doctor for me and my family and hopefully I can find one that knows his patients.

I called in my refill 5 days ago to the pharmacy (2 refills) and only 1 was ready after 3 days of waiting. The Dr. herself receives 4 stars, however her staff and the inability to reach the staff don't receive any, ergo the 2 stars. This is not the first time I've had issues with the staff responding to the pharmacy in a timely manner or not responding at all. I will be switching PCP's. It is a constant and ongoing battle to get refills. Time to change PCP's.

Yesterday, after several days of trying to…read moreget a medication issue resolved, I was told by the office manager, Christopher Urrutia to consider euthanasia and he further offered to give me phone numbers in Oregon to contact to that end. I was devastated and shocked. But the response of the doctor when I finally spoke to him left me absolutely gutted. He simply ignored the information apparently. He just went on discussing my medication and seemed absolutely uninterested in his office manager/brother telling a patient to consider suicide!!! I have the conversation with Christopher recorded as he has been rude in the past and I expected it again. But absolutely nothing could have prepared me for what he said to me. I'm just very glad I have it recorded as, of course, he is denying that he said exactly that!! Well Christopher, we will see what the state medical board thinks of your advice! Absolutely ridiculous! I thought that maybe I was the only one treated this way but it's apparent there is a pattern of abuse that is being completely ignored by the doctor.

Dr. Sorensen is an intelligent, compassionate physician who truly cares about his patients. If additional testing is needed to reach a diagnosis, he doesn't hesitate to order it. I've always felt heard, respected, and well cared for. I also want to recognize his current PA, Erika. She is wonderful--she listens, addresses my concerns thoroughly, and never makes me feel rushed. Every appointment I've had with her has been a positive experience. As for the office staff, I can only speak from my own experience, and it has always been excellent. The front office receptionist is welcoming and professional, and the back office staff, including Pam, Melissa, and Clarissa, are consistently friendly, kind, and genuinely caring.
