We left back in August of 2023 after some coach changes. We chose to leave on our own based on the turn over. There has been continued turn over and would be wary of anyone signing up their child at this location. We were very, very happy in 2019 and disappointed in how the gym shifted and changed starting in July 2022. I only updated the review here since I was just recently, April 2023, blocked from their business Facebook page and unable to stay updated with the other kids/families we knew that had stayed. If you care about your time, money, or sanity, I'd recommend avoiding UFFG for the foreseeable future. It's an absolute disorganized disaster. We enrolled our daughter here after comparing UFFG and Brandy Johnson by the NTC. This place had better reviews and had a more laid-back atmosphere versus the other location. Unfortunately, it's been really nothing but disorganized chaos, random emails from the owner, and more over the last six months. It's very clear unless your child is a gymnastics prodigy, this place is just a money grab. The gym cannot seem to retain any coaches. Our daughter's coach tonight was a no call/no show, the facility had NO idea, and my daughter was left wandering while three coaches just stood by the wall and talked while all the kids were made to stretch from 4:05-4:30. When they finally told one of the coaches she had to go to the preschool class, it was very clear no class was planned and I watched my daughter barely do anything for 15 minutes. Another girl was also hitting her, and the teacher did nothing to respond or amend the situation and just said "Oh" and "Ok". Over the last six months this is what we've seen: - Four to six different coaches over the last three months, with no communications about who has quit - Classes not starting on time - No idea who the coaches are/no communication - Lack of care for the students and their abilities/no progression whatsoever - Coaches yelling at 3 and 4 year olds to "pay attention" over and over, while putting them in a giant room with 50 girls running around, blasting music, and sparkling leotards. - Impossible opportunities to schedule make up classes and awful times (Wednesday at 7pm or Saturday at 9am) - None of the coaches take the time to introduce themselves to the parents or make time to connect with the kids. - The most random email from the owner about disorganization, promising consistency, noting very random things and rumors about the teachers/the facility, and more. Overall, I'd avoid this location until they get their act together. Unless your child is a gymnastics superstar, they really don't care about them. I took my two young daughters to a trial class here tonight. It was a bad feeling from the time I walked in the place. We walked in, we're never greeted and not helped. I asked what my girls should do and they told me to just wait. There were two teachers to start the class, my girls were obviously the new kids and had no idea what to do, the teachers watched them as they wondered around trying to follow the way that they could. One teacher was leading stretched while the other was dancing and singing along to the music. This is the first "organized" sport that my youngest has been apart of and was obviously lost. She kept running over to mento ask for help and I was hoping that the teacher would help guide her. Instead she kept singing and dancing along. I am not a helicopter parent or very over protective, but if I a expected to pay a lot of money for a class, I at least wish someone would ask my daughter what her name is. After that, they split up into age groups. The teacher who popped out of the back to help the younger group had the worst attitude. She didn't smile, ask names, tell anyone her name, help when kids were struggling, she even walked into the extra room for the little kids and left about 3 kids behind who were struggling to find their way. When a girl was struggling to do a move in the trampoline, she just stood there and watched her. After jumping in the trampoline for 20 minutes , they went to the foam pit. The bigger kids were doing moves into it so she took the little kids and let them jump into the pit for 5 minutes. The n she said class was over. A 50 minute class ended about 12 minutes early. I put my girls shoes on and left. Before I even left the building. My 5 year old said " I don't like this place" "The teacher was mad the whole time. She didn't even smile". I had only been there for a year and never got the coaching I needed. The staff was never understanding and the coaches where very immatur. I quit gymnastics because of the bad experience there. Although I made a lot of friends, they could never keep their coaches. Over all not a good environment. read more

"Response to Kyle....I would like to start by saying that I have always loved and have all the respect in the world for you and your family. It is super hard for my family and I to hear these comments from you and I take it as you meant it. One thing you should know is that there is only one truth to a story. But to know a conclusion can only be obtained by hearing both versions of a story. In the world of gymnastics, or in this case, the parents for the most part only see or hear what the coach or the person, and/or the family complaining says. Especially now the way is built on social media comments and opinions. Being a small business owner had to be the hardest thing my family and I have ever done. There are many things we have to keep behind the scenes because we have to keep it politically and professionally in balance or because it is better for the environment or for the business as a whole. Among those behind the scenes things we have the following, for instance: 1-When a coach leaves because they are too harsh or choose to be mean to the kids, parent won't know WHY the coach is not there anymore. 2-When a coach grabs a gymnast by his/her arm and said in a mean voice "what did I ask you to do." parent won't know WHY the coach is not there anymore. 3-When a family is completely inappropriate and obnoxious to everyone in the facility or a gymnast is being a bully to others, or when they can't pay their bill for our service...when clients walk around demanding to change policies because they don't like it...parent won't know WHY the family was asked to leave or is not there anymore. (There were 14 more points made that I excluded). But even though, we give many opportunities for this coach, gymnast, and/or family to fix some of these behaviors mentioned above, they completely disregard our authority as managers, administrators, directors, and or owners. If after many opportunities the person does not fix the issue then we don't have another choice to let them go or they decide to leave before we fire them. ALL PARENTS KNOW IS THAT THE COACH IS NOT THERE and BUILD ASSUMPTIONS AMONG THEMSELVES BASED ON THE EX-COACH or EX-CLIENTS STORIES. Those are just a few of the things why you see a coach, a family/gymnast, come and then they are gone. Things are not always what you as ex-clients, ex-staff member, or just social media follower think they are. Always, listen or give the benefit of the doubt when you don't know the whole story. So, if my family is guilty for closing a gym before due to my wife mom having terminal cancer, now leaving the gym with other people being in charged because two of our family have being suffering from depression for years (which I blame the gym for part of it), for needing a break from all of that stress, and for not putting all of these information out there for you all to read during these 8 years of the business running, I take guilty any day and I won't apologize for it. As I mentioned before my respect and admiration for your family will not change based on this and as I feel about everyone who judge, is rude, or kill us with words in social media, I just blame it on the fact that you all don't know the two side of the story to draw a conclusion. I appreciate needing to put family first, but I have never done so without ensuring that my clients are taken care of. Coach Santiago left Anthony and Ariana in an impossible position by moving out of state. Coaches came and went. Anthony and Ariana were the ONLY constant. They went to ALL of the meets, were there for all of the classes, and dealt with all the coaches who no showed or were late. They dealt with the backlash after the Superhero Bash. I prayed the entire competition season that Anthony and Ariana would stick it out for the sake of the gymnasts, but would not have blamed them if they left. read more

My girls had a blast here! Today was their first day since at home they like to flip and jump I figured gymnastics would be a good choice. I liked how proactive they were with girls on their first day they did so much and each trainer spends a good amount of attention with each student. I registered my girls to continue here for a while and they are just as excited as I am. read more

Worst display of professionalism that I have ever experienced by far. They will hold your child back from progressing if there is another that attends more ( pays more money). I've brought up my concern twice to my daughters x-coach. Another parent brought up the exact same concern initiating the conversation first and this was their response below. If this was the only gym with an open availability I still world highly recommend you wait for another who deals with concerns professionally. read more

My daughter wanted to do gymastics, we tried one place and didn't like it at all then we did the free trial class at United. When we walked in, it was nice because it was not crazy with people everywhere and the staff is super friendly and helpful. The owners are so friendly and very welcoming, You feel like you are at home there. Anywhere where you sit you can see your child in class.
