Lounge (C74) is bright, airy, modern and well staffed. Came in early in the morning around 8am on a Sunday and lounge was probably 60% full. Prefer this concept over their older lounge as it is more in line with offerings in Asia. It will be better if they provide more food options besides the usual eggs and sausages. Illy coffee is always a nice touch and hidden in a corner of the lounge.

You need to be United Gold + international flight (or better) or have a United Club Pass or an Alliance Gold equivalent (so their own gold = no entry normally without the international flight)... I mean... not really giving their own members much of a benefit. Up the escalator, and scan your ticket. Note there's a time limit - you have to be within 3 hours of your flight, I think. Double the trouble to get in, I just ended up grabbing breakfast downstairs.

Food options are limited. Disappointed. Tables were dirty. It was difficult to find a place to sit. Thinking of switching to delta. United club isn't offering much compared to others

I went to the club around 10 am. It was quite busy. But the staff were doing a good job of keeping up. Well maintained and clean area. All stations were filled with breakfast items. There were some good options like paddies, sausages, wraps, bread, and kinds of spreads. They were just switching to lunch items close to 11am, so got to try some of those too.

Entryway looks promising but...

Renovated and still subpar: tried no fewer than five USB outlets before finding one what worked. Unlike the lounge by C123, this one does not have a live barista for coffee and you're using just machines with no milk alternatives. Bartender here much friendlier than the staff over in Polaris lounge but if in Terminal C, pick the 124 lounge over 74. And not like we get to choose, but both these options are superior to the lounge in A, which barely has a decent food spread no matter what time I've visited.

First time in United Club in Jersey. There were like five in just one terminal. Picked the one across from our gate. No alcohol self service like AA lounges, but the bar was huge and service fast. Food was not bad. Decent sandwiches, soups, hot plates of chicken, chorizo, mashed potatoes and rice. Bathroom very clean. No complaints. Sorry no food picks busy chatting with my colleagues for two hours.

Beautiful new lounge

The newly renovated Newark Airport United Club at Terminal C near gate 74 scores with the comfortable couches vs. sitting waiting during a wait for plane departure. Did I come for the food? Absolutely not since I just ate my way through NJ food and buffets are not my style since many people were sneezing over the so-called protective glass. The bathrooms were clean, and the best service came from the cleaning staff who were very tuned into the needs of weary travelers. The front desk staff could use a refresh class or maybe a skilled 101 class on how to treat travelers. There definitely is a huge difference between the customer service in other United Club lounge such as Honolulu and even Houston. I was curious about what the wellness area was and when I asked the inside customer service representative, she looked at me like I had just stolen her pet and said curtly that is for breastfeeding moms. Personally, I think that is a great service for new moms but how did she assume I was not one? Anyways, it was nice to have a relaxing place to chill until a few moments before take off.

Mac and cheese and chicken. That's all they offered for dinner besides the appetizers

This is just an Ok United lounge (gate C74), definitely not worth the $59 fee if you need to pay separately. If it's included with your credit card then go for it. Very limited dining choices and not so many comfortable seats. On the plus side you can get some complimentary beer and drinks although my Modelo draft did not taste like a Modelo. They probably got the wrong tap.

It's been a few months since I've been to this United Club location and I was pleasantly surprised to find it newly renovated. Although it is not as big and great as the United Club near gates C120-139, it has definitely improved after the renovation. Location: Terminal C near Gate 74. Go up the escalator for the entrance. Self check-in or with the attendants. Food & drinks: There is both hot and cold food available. I came here in the morning and the breakfast options were adequate. I love that they have a water refill station for your personal water bottle. The bar is spacious with plenty of seating but doesn't open until 6am. Seating: Fairly spacious with comfy chairs, adequate charging ports, tables for dining, and also individual booths that are perfect to work at. Overall, a great place to relax before a flight or even stop in to just use the clean bathroom and grab a snack.

Excellent healthy meal selections.

Probably the best flight layover I've ever had, thanks to United Airlines Club Lounge!? Let me start...the hummus was excellent, I had 2 servings with the pita chips. The pasta, roasted chicken & Brussel Sprouts were amazingly delicious, I also had 2 servings as well. I was over all impressed with all of the high quality healthy food selections. The beverage selections were also plentiful, including the bar complimentary choices. The Red Sangria was especially good. The lounge is very spacious, plenty of seating with power outlets to recharge electronic devices. The United Airlines Club Lounge provides an upscale privileged ambience ...very boujee, yet very convenient for long layover, makes air travel more enjoyable. The friendly efficient staff is very attentive, strives for superior customer service. United Airlines is very consistent when it comes to customer service. I'll be looking forward to much more Club Lounge experiences in the future...Bon Voyage!

Great United Club at terminal C. Enjoy breakfast buffet . Plenty of choice. Like coffee machine either options. Also a barista on duty. Nice bathrooms. Only comment is rude they would bring back ceramic coffee cups instead of paper. .

The United Lounge in Terminal A at Newark Airport is a great place to relax before a flight. It is…read morenew, spacious and has plenty of seating even during peak hours which makes it much more comfortable than waiting in the main terminal. It is technically not free, but it is a solid perk if you have a United or Star Alliance account. It is also a convenient way to use a nice restroom and fill up on food before boarding. Food: The chicken noodle soup is surprisingly good and feels like something you would get from a restaurant. The tongs are always too small for the sandwiches which seems to be the case at every lounge, but the sandwiches themselves are decent and about a step below what you would expect from a place like Subway. I appreciate the variety in drinks which includes soda, coffee, water and juice. The cookies and brownies are also consistently good. Service: The employees are always courteous and attentive. They are constantly going around cleaning and are ready to help when needed. Overall, this is a very comfortable and reliable lounge experience and worth visiting if you have access.

The food is standard United Club food which has the basics. There are several coffee stations and this is the one local to offer taffy - perhaps it is a Jersey shore thing.

I had an old fashioned and it was in a tall tumbler which was disappointing but it tasted pretty good. The prices were high but the food was large. The $11.99 fries could easily feed two people. They were yummy. The parmesan chicken sandwich was also huge and not quite as good but still decent. The broccoli plate was disappointing. It was just plain broccoli with nothing spicing it up for $9.99. That definitely felt like a rip off. Besides the broccoli the rest of the meal was solid to good so I won't complain too much!

No QR code digital zombie crap. Real, happy (yes, HAPPY in NEWARK!) humans. But QR code ordering is available if you prefer. Now, the food? Hands down the best airport restaurant breakfast I have had. I basically live in airports. This was such a pleasant surprise. Eggs were real and tasty - not microwaved from frozen pucks. Avocado? Generous and fresh. Chili flakes on the sandwich? Inspired. Gave just a bit of heat, novelty and flavor to a breakfast staple. Ok, sorry for the rant. It's early, and I can't believe this random little airport stop.

Girls' night rule #1: pick a place with a vibe. Girls' night…read morerule #2: the food better back it up. Burke's Tavern understood the assignment. None of us had been before, so we walked in blind, except not really, because the second we stepped inside the vibe hit us. Dimmed lights (but not "can't read the menu" dim), candles glowing, plants everywhere, music just loud enough to feel cool but not loud enough to ruin the gossip. Cozy. Chill. Cute. The holy trinity. It wasn't packed, so we had seating options and landed at a round table in the middle: elite positioning, honestly. Door and front windows on one side, bar view on the other. Prime people-watching real estate. Now let's discuss the important part: the food. We ordered strategically (read: everything we wanted). Lamb meatballs - 10/10. Holy crap. I don't know who is back there doing what, but please continue. Burrata pizza - absolutely delicious. Gone in record time. Gochu-Crispy-Chikin - no notes. Million Dollar Chicken - appropriately named. Fish 'N' Chips - zero complaints across the table. And that's the thing: not a single person in the group had an issue. No side-eye. No "it's good, but..." Just clean plates and happy energy. Now. Parking? Disrespectful. It's on a corner (love that), but finding parking took effort (do not love that). Would I let that stop me? Absolutely not. Parking be damned. I will circle. I will walk. I will manifest a spot. Because this place is such a vibe that it's already secured a return visit -- brunch is calling, and I need to see what this place feels like when the weather warms up. Girls' night/date night/ANY night approved.

The atmosphere and restaurant look great. It has a good vibe and the service was great. Let me tell you about the burger, not the best, they give you a slider size patty, overcooked and served on a bun that comes apart when you grab it. I'm not sure about the rest of the menu, but not a burger place. Now the chocolate cake with the raspberry ice cream--wow! This was the best part of the meal. I'm giving this place 4 stars even though I didn't like the burger because that's all I tried. I'll come back and revise this rating up/down if I come back and try other menu items. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
