I went to the United Club in Terminal A. Because I fly a lot with Air Canada and I have reached 50K status with Air Canada, I get to go to the United Club free along with a friend. I always like United Club. The lounge is always clean and service has always been very great. There are good selection of food here ranging from desserts, soup to sandwiches. Lots have changed after Covid. They have prepackaged items that people can take on the go (salad, snacks etc). They now offer chips instead of bread. Food selection has improved a lot. I really enjoyed my time at the United Club.

I have found the United Club in terminal C to just have too many people. The Club in terminal A offers some quiet. It is updated and has a newish feel. The offerings are what you would expect which are fine. Probably more important is that you can get very good customer service for flight changes or other issues.

It's been a long time since I was in Terminal A at Newark Liberty International Airport - over 10 years ago. Since then, the United Club here has undergone a major retrofit - and all for the good! This location is nice and modern. And not packed to the gills like the other United Clubs in other parts of Newark Liberty. I hung out for a couple of hours waiting to board my flight home. I was able to comfortably work while I was waiting. The ladies at the front desk were very nice! #UnitedClub

The best kept non-secret at EWR, if you fly united, is the lounge at terminal A. Terminal C is now filled with the pop up variety, which is/are often crowded to capacity and pretty poor about getting g work done or even finding a seat. The revamp in TA is well received, and it's hidden location on the way out of the terminal keeps numbers down. I can see why some with longer layovers take the shuttle over here rather than stay with the masses in TC when this so much easier to deal with - there are even a couple of 'phone booths' for calls - albeit filled with at least one person hardly on a call but clearly enjoying the solitude a glassed enclosure might bring. This is a welcome addition to Newark.

Regards, The Yelp Support Team San Francisco, California Removed Content: July 26, 2019 If there is anything positive about catching at flight out of Newark's Terminal A it's definitely this newly renovated United Club. It's been nothing short of torture waiting for an outbound flight in this crummy little terminal during the construction period with the closure of this club. It's so nice to see a small portion of my United Airline's yearly expenditures go towards updating this Club - I never thought it was a terrible place considering it was an escape from the dirty cramped space in this terminal, but now this refuge with its new facelift is like finding an oasis again. I've always had a great experience with the United Customer Service Staff here but with newly updated amenities I now look forward to taking the air tram over knowing that I'll only have to spend a few moments in the terminal before boarding my flight. The improved work spaces and food upgrades are more in line with some of the better clubs United has available around the country and with the air traffic issues this outdated third world airport has it nice knowing United Airline has invested in lessening the pain it's frequent fliers have to endure to get out of Newark... This United Club in EWR Terminal A jumped from 2 stars to 4 with their recent renovation. Beautiful floors, all new modern furnishings, white quartz countertops, community tables and tons of outlets that work. The front desk agent was courteous and smiled as I entered and left. Kudos to the bartender who gave me the largest complimentary Bloody Mary I've ever received in any United Club. Exactly what I needed for pre-flight transcon breakfast...Oatmeal with fresh fruit and a huge Bloody Mary! United Club is truly an oasis in the horrid Newark 3rd World Terminal A.

    Rude conceirge...

Rude person at the entrance would not let me even though it was only 9:10. Wanted to get a glimpse of the new club lounge in the new Terminal A and grab a water. What's the sense in paying for a club membership to get such rude service.

The bar. Debating on a glass of rosé but it's a little early?!

This United Club is located in Terminal A after security. It's a newer, renovated lounge, nice and clean. It's a great place to get some breakfast, snacks, drink, etc before or after your flight. I was so happy to see some Numi tea, which is my favorite brand. I may or may not have taken some extra black tea bags... Very nice wine selection though you have to pay extra for the fancier items. I was there around 8 in the morning so I figured it was a bit too early... Overall, nice lounge and sure beats waiting around or eating at a fast food place in the terminal.

I carry a Continental Airlines affiliated Chase MasterCard that gives me access to the Presidents Club when I travel. Having visited a couple of them recently, it's safe to say that all of the Clubs that CO operates are exactly the same. Plenty of comfortable seats, a section of workstation areas, electrical outlets everywhere, clean restrooms, free wifi. CO also has a bar with free drinks which includes sodas but also two or three brands of beer and a few wine offerings. Some 'premium' wines are also available for a charge. Food offerings are the same at every President's Club. Individual bags of chips or Fritos, individually wrapped cheese, a small tub of spreadable cheese, individual crackers and some fruit. Nothing hot. Nothing unusual. The Clubs don't allow you to bring in food from outside. The A terminal club is located near the security screening area. You have to just about leave the 'secure' area, but just before you get to the 'beyond this point', it's on the left side.

Nicely renovated. Relaxing. Only a two stall bathroom. Arrival/departure updated board is very helpful. Lots of publications to take. At 8 pm the salad bar/cheese/cookies were available

It is technically not free, but it is a solid perk if you have a United or Star Alliance account. It is also a convenient way to use a nice restroom and fill up on food before boarding. Food: The chicken noodle soup is surprisingly good and feels like something you would get from a restaurant. The tongs are always too small for the sandwiches which seems to be the case at every lounge, but the sandwiches themselves are decent and about a step below what you would expect from a place like Subway. I appreciate the variety in drinks which includes soda, coffee, water and juice. The cookies and brownies are also consistently good. Service: The employees are always courteous and attentive. They are constantly going around cleaning and are ready to help when needed. Overall, this is a very comfortable and reliable lounge experience and worth visiting if you have access.

The food is standard United Club food which has the basics. There are several coffee stations and this is the one local to offer taffy - perhaps it is a Jersey shore thing.

Lounge & Co (SIA) - Newark Liberty…read more Full Disclosure: This lounge is currently undergoing major renovations following its previous ownership by Virgin Atlantic. I've visited Singapore Airlines lounges at Singapore Changi Airport and Incheon International Airport, spending time in both the SilverKris Business Lounge and KrisFlyer Gold lounges. Each offers strong service in its own way. Based on what Singapore Airlines consistently delivers both in the air and on the ground, it's reasonable to expect this lounge will eventually reflect that same standard once renovations are complete. Below is a breakdown of the current experience. ATMOSPHERE: 4/5 First impressions matter. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ann Charles, whose professionalism stood out. In a lounge setting, the ability to read and adapt to different travelers is important, and she handled that well. Inside, the ongoing renovations are immediately noticeable. The wooden flooring shows age, sections of the ceiling need attention, and parts around bar and coffee area were covered in plastic from recent painting. Seating is a mix of updated and older furniture, which creates some inconsistency. That said, the bar design stands out. Even across different locations, Singapore Airlines tends to execute distinctive bar areas well, and that design consistency is evident here. CUISINE: 4/5 The food presentation was clean and organized, with neatly arranged dishes and utensils wrapped in cloth napkins. The breakfast buffet was visually appealing. Compared to other Singapore Airlines lounges, the selection here felt more limited, with a few less balanced options. Some items were slightly overcooked, with minor burnt edges. I tried noodles, a folded omelet, a sunny-side-up egg, and a hash brown. Overall taste was good, though not exceptional. A small selection of pastries was also available. RESTROOM / SHOWERS: 3/5 This area needs the most improvement. The design, carried over from Virgin Atlantic, is visually distinctive but not very functional. The sink setup is awkward--the faucet is loose and positioned too low, making basic use uncomfortable. The shower layout also presents issues: the floor slopes from the sink toward the drain, and the curtain is set too high. As a result, water spreads easily across the floor. After showering, the area near the sink was significantly wet. Ventilation is another concern. While shower water pressure and temperature were good, the lack of proper airflow leads to noticeable humidity and condensation. On a positive note, the staff member who assisted with extra towels was courteous and helpful. CUSTOMER SERVICE: 4/5 Service overall was good. Staff remained professional, even when dealing with difficult travelers. My interactions were smooth and without issue. But, I can reassure you, if this is your first time flying Singapore Air, they will more than exceed your expectations on your business class journey. After flying with them 5 different times, both in Economy and Business Class, I have never been disappointed. Their customer service is truly unmatched!
