    I was traveling with my almost 100 year old Mother in a wheelchair and employee Jackson was amazing. He has a longer birth name, but he said I could call him Jackson. What a fantastic employee. He was such a great asset and kind. It was so refreshing best way to start a trip. The woman at the gate was very lovely too.

    Calm easy flight, the only complaint was the flight attendants kept skipping a portion of the pain, for the headphones and the application for united CC. My loss I guess.

    @united left me stranded 1000's of miles from home in Billings, MT. They had confirmed 2x that I could travel with a kitten in a carrier, and at the airport I was told it was too young (12 weeks), despite my having confirmed the age was sufficient previously. I was specifically told I could travel with it. I had to pay close to $1000 to get home. I was told by the ticket agent: "that's not my problem - why don't you take it (the kitten) back to where you got it." I received nominal ($100) inadequate reimbursement for this travel nightmare. Use any other airline by United.

    I have flown about 1,500,000 miles with United over my career. Over this time, the delays due to weather are increasing beyond belief. Has weather gotten that much worse in five years??? No - due to cost cutting, United has consolidated hubs to a few of the busiest airports in the country. Now if weather does hit, most every flight is now affected. The concern of providing a service that offers timely delivery to your destination is truly being lost. ... Delay has now been extended to 6pm departure!

    Anyone miss Continental? Man those were the good 'ole days. So the good news, United will usually get you to where they promised but on occasion it's like the cable guy, just give us a 4 hour arrival window Customer service can be really good at times or really bad. I just had an unpleasant experience with a counter agent and then positive interactions with both gate agent and a flight attendant, so what is that a 66% on customer service. And if you ask the good ones, YEP they were previous Continental Employees. It's literally night and day between the Houston crews and the Chicago crews. United needs to learn from their previous Continental management teams on employee training and hiring. But anyways I tried to keep my loyalty with United after they bought Continental and did for the first few years. I've flown over 600,000 miles with them and well over 2,000,000 miles, But so much has changed for the worse. First and foremost, being able to rack up and then USE those points! The whole point of being a frequent flyer is to save up your miles and then be able to use the miles with value. I've had the United Chase credit card for at least 15 years but there's never any flights available anymore with the minimum 25,000 points for a round trip domestic ticket. Unless you are willing to take a ridiculous overnight 20+ hour flight that you could drive in less time. Who buys those tickets! Why are they even an option? If you want to use points for a ticket you'd want, expect to spend double the normal points. Next, the introduction of "Basic" Economy tickets. I'm pretty sure United started that crap. Who ever came up with that idea, obviously works for United and will NEVER have to actually fly on this type of ticket. Same price of ticket as before just far more useless. No seat assignment Ever until you are getting on the plane, you can't even pay them $ to get a seat assignment, no option at all to pay a fee to change your ticket if you need to cancel it or change it. Again, countless revenue is being missed by not accepting fees for these changes... Next, I can't tell you how many times I've searched for tickets these days and United has a similar flight as other airlines but it's just 30-50% more, why!?! Nope, that's not worth it. Lastly, I do have to make a shout out to United, and here's how they moved from 2 to 3 stars. I left a bag with something quite valuable in it on one of their planes this past March. Reported it lost on their website and 3-4 weeks later it was returned, totally expecting to never see it again. Nice job United, I've told many people the whole story! Now please get rid of basic economy and make your points usable!

    No one's happy here when there's a mechanical delay masked as a weather delay.

    CLUELESS IN CLEVELAND This review is for the dude working at customer service who has no idea what he is doing. We went to customer service at 12:30pm, after finding out our flight was delayed and he told us we had to just wait and there was nothing he could do. Meanwhile we witnessed him screw up a flight search for another customer while we were waiting. We sat and watched our flight get delayed again and again and again. Finally I went to the website to see that the plane had an unscheduled mechanical issue. So at 3:30pm I made a call to the United 800#. The guy in India didn't see the mechanical issue until I pointed it out to him. He suggested to move us to a later United flight that wasn't delayed. We decided to pull the trigger on the phone and the only issue was we had seats but no seats together. He advised me to go back to customer service for them to work some seat magic. We arrived back at customer and had to wait. There were 3 agents working including the dude who didn't help me earlier. My whole family prayed that we would get another agent. We had a 66.3% chance but our prayers went unanswered and we got the dude again. Prior to him helping us again, we witnessed him lose the last two seats on another plane for the couple in front of us to the United Customer service lady sitting to his right. The couple started yelling at him insisting they were there first and how did he lose them. It really was like an episode for the Amazing Race TV show. As I walked up, I was not very happy. The dude says, "Weren't you here earlier?" I said, "Yeah I was here earlier and you said you couldn't do anything for me, so I called the 800# and they were able to book me on a new flight. I was just coming here for seats together for my whole family but now I want you to put me on the American Airlines Flight leaving to Chicago in the next hour!"......complete silence..... Guess what? I was on the next flight home with my family via American Airlines. I didn't want to be a jerk but the dude pushed me to it. I didn't yell or anything but I told him what I wanted and I wasn't going to mess around. Sometimes you have to put your foot down plus I wasn't sleeping in Cleveland for the night. Customer Service is suppose to fix things but the dude in Cleveland was just messing stuff up. He had no drive and just one speed. He was making customers angry and I could totally see why. He took a laid back approach to his job even though the travelers were panicked. If he had displayed some urgency in wanting to help travelers then this might be a 5 star review but he didn't....complete silence....

    This is our Frenchy who is "too big" to travel with us, inside the carrier that United staff sold us. Ironic that they sold us.

    3 different times in a row United has lost or damaged my packages. All without compensation. Terrible. Just plain terrible.

My entire group of friends booked Frontier for our flight to Tampa so I reluctantly did too. I have a traumatic history with Frontier as they canceled my flight 4 years ago to Phoenix last minute and I missed a friend's Bachelorette party. Then they made me through heck to get my money back! They nickel and dime EVERYTHING and they give nothing out for free, not even an in-flight snack or soft drinks! You even have to pay for your CARRY-ON!! And you better not be an ounce over 40 pounds on your checked bag or you'll get charged a hefty oversized fee. Fortunately, my suitcase was less than 30 pounds but my friend had to stuff some stuff in my bag since hers was 1 pound over and they were going to charge her! As for the flight itself, we left late because they apparently miscounted the number of passengers on their books. I wasn't expecting in-flight entertainment but at least put in outlets to charge devices so we can watch our own entertainment! The take off was so bumpy and I got so queezy that I nearly cried. And some might be happy about this, but I was disappointed to see that the seats did not have the ability to lean back a bit. I am giving Frontier two stars instead of just one because I feel sorry for the staff as they seem worn out but still are kind. And I didn't die on my flight, so that's a plus!

Next our flight was delayed by 4 hours with almost no communication of why ir what was happening. Then, even though we were eligible for meal vouchers, come to find out the manager of Frontier for this gate was not issuing vouchers because instead of working they were boarding a flight themselves! So disappointing that a major company is so unorganized.

When I initially landed it was a quick walk from my gate to baggage claim, an area that was much quieter and barren than expected. I loved that the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame store was one of the first things I saw, honoring legendary artists with their faces and names adorned on t-shirts and guitar picks. The huge Cleveland sign at arrivals was also a sight to see. When it was time for me to return to Atlanta, I was concerned about the lines as TSA was still going unpaid. I was assured that I shouldn't worry, especially because I have precheck. But because of who I am as a person, I'm always early to the airport. I enjoy the airport! So when I arrived early and literally got through the line in FOUR minutes, I just had to laugh, lol. The restaurant options are a bit more limited than one would hope, but there are some options. Vino Volo was the best place in that bad boy so be sure to stop in for a glass of wine or a bite to eat! The airport itself was quite clean but the bathrooms were a little disappointing as many public restrooms can be. I still haven't learned to bring my own good toilet paper while traveling. But employees were kind, the place wasn't incredibly busy, there were electric ports available and the wifi worked - what more could you ask for?

You might be right in that sense. Driving to or picking someone up at LAX is a blood pact with them and it can get chaotic, but the abysmal times that I was forced to live in Ohio and had to fly in and out of CLE airport were hands down some of the worst times of my life. It was never super crowded per se but how I was treated by staff and other customers was appalling. I had comments made about my race and being incorrectly identified as being Chinese and rude (not only here but my entire stay in this state, but that's a story for a different day) and I had a tiny carry on luggage that they argued had to be checked in while I saw lily skinned families behind me get to carry everything with them. It ended up being a rare ichiban kuji Nameko saibai luggage that you can only get through lottery in Japan and that I got secondhand. You can't find it anymore and the bottom part ended up being broken and they never found the missing piece. I'd avoid this airport and actually the entire state like the plague if I had to have a say in it.

I didn't think that I needed a travel agent these days (I mean the internet and trip advisor were all I needed, right?), but I was totally wrong. My sister and I couldn't decide on a Caribbean location for our resort trip, so Phyllis sat with us and gave us her first hand experience of all the different islands and their strengths and weaknesses. This woman has been everywhere and her knowledge and experience is super helpful. She ended up booking us a great off season deal at a 5 star all inclusive in Jamaica. It was beautiful, relaxing, and the food was amazing and authentic. And when we were stuck in the Jamaican airport on the way home because our plane was grounded in Charlotte with technical difficulties, all of our fellow passengers had to stand in these horribly long lines in the sweltering heat (no a/c in the airport concourse) while with a call to Phyllis, she got us rebooked on a flight, first class, and in the meantime we whiles away the wait with our passes to the members only lounge in the airport she recommended we spring for. She really saved us. So of course we've gone back to her for our family trip to Aruba, and my sisters trip to Mexico. Really, you can't go wrong with Phyllis, and when things do unexpectedly go wrong on your trip, she is there for you.
