With no communication and thirty minutes left to board they delay my flight. No biggie I have time still to catch my next flight. Nope another thirty minute delay all the time not communicating to us. Still could make my next flight but it's tight. Again no communication our plane shows up everyone exits but we are delayed again for thirty minutes. I go see the lady now. She says I can handle the missed flight arrangements in Dallas. I chose that option. I chose wrong. American Airlines did me dirty. Customer service was over 100 people long for four agents. It was 9pm the restaurants were closed or closing. Terrible customer service. Will try and fly anyone else I can from now on.

But when my boyfriend and I decided we wanted to take a trip to Costa Rica right at the busiest time of year for me at work I quickly had to make a choice 1. go without a real plan and hope for the best 2. give the power to someone else. I chose option 2 cause my organizers anxiety wouldn't allow me to arrive in a new country and fly by the seat of my pants!! I emailed Kelly the small plan we had already created and asked her for suggestions. One of my favorite things about Kelly's planning is that she took liberties on our want for adventure. She made suggestions for excursions but didn't take us too far from the hotel so we could also relax a little. I feel like we got a great price with Kern Travel and everything was organized and laid out exactly like I need. I can't wait to go on another trip and let Kelly handle the whole thing!

My return trip was another story. After arriving back at LAX from an overnight flight from Chile, I could not contact anyone. I was originally told that I would be picked up shortly, then calls and texts went unanswered for hours. No rental cars were available for one way drop off to Bakersfield and Uber was almost $200. I was finally able to get another private shuttle service to get me back home after waiting almost 6 hours. It cost me twice as much as I had planned on. I thought I'd give them another try today. My son-in-law was leaving Bakersfield to ship out to Boot Camp with the Army. I confirmed a pick up time of 3:30 am. When no one arrived, we texted at 3:40. No response. We called at 3:50. No response. I called 5 more times as I got ready to make the drive myself. Still no response. So I drove him to LAX myself at 4:00 am. It is 11:00 and I still have gotten no response to any calls or texts. Do not make the same mistake I did and give them a try. It is not worth the stress!! DO NOT RECOMMEND.
