I thought Arlington was lacking in good boba, spots that we're just boba and not a restaurant. This place fulfilled my expectation of location, good parking, and a good place to chill and study. It remind me of the boba spots in Richardson or Plano where the place has abundance of space to move around and relax. The place is well decorated and unique. They have such decors in which you can use as a filter or make instagram worthy pictures which is a plus. I feel the furniture's can be expanded to make a bit more space or add more furniture but the amount of space to move around is amazing. I got Thai tea and I felt it tasted good for the first three sips but then got watered down. I liked it overall but I wanted a bit more flavor. 3.5 stars. I got the Pachango with added boba, but I also got to try their honey milk tea. The Pachango seemed to also include popping boba in addition to mango bits and lychee jelly. The lychee jelly, mango bits and popping boba were very standard. Their regular boba actually was very good. It had a sweet taste and was cooked perfectly so that the texture was spot-on. However, I did think that there were too many toppings and by the end of the drink, I still had a lot of toppings left. The tea itself was very normal. I didn't think it was that spectacular, and maybe even a little dilute. As for the honey milk tea, I didn't really like it at all. The taste just wasn't that good, but I've come to realize now that when I go to another boba shop other than my favorite place, I'll usually get the fruit teas because they're usually pretty standardized across the board. It wasn't too sweet which was great because it's a problem I run into often! nothing to unique about the flavor, but it did hit the spot! I would recommend using a stronger jasmine. I've noticed Unitea being under construction for some time now and finally - they're ready! Well, as I am typing this Unitea is having soft opening and check ins on facebook are 20% on your order. Unitea is located in the block where Pasta Masta is, which is a pretty bad location since its sort of hidden - yet good location because its near campus. The store is spatious, with wooden tables and metal chairs, along with mural painted walls. The mural are great for photos! The store vibe feels pretty cold though, or empty per se? Maybe the store is too big that more decor is required. Now for the drinks, for my visit I tried the taro milk tea with boba and the mangonada. Both delicious! I'm not a very big fan of taro but I figured if a drink I'm not so impressed with can win me, everything else will most likely be great. The taro milk tea is very light and smooth, with just enough flavor of taro to where I can taste it, yet taste the tea base itself. Not at all powdery. The mangonada - holy moly, it was bordelrine perfect. Definitely was not expecting it to be THAT good. I love mangonada, so I am definitely picky on stuff that I love - and this is JUST sweet enough, while keeping the sourness to balance out the chili. There's even a tamarind candy straw in the drink and mango pieces on top. Finally for the boba - its pretty soft. I like my boba on the chewier side but hey they're still new, those things can be fixed. Overall, yes this is another boba place on Cooper however, its definitely worth a try. read more

Normally I would give this place 5 stars. however, Bought a Vietnamese iced coffee. I was very disappointed about the portion. The drink cost $5 and more than 3/4 of the cup was ice. I had a Just Peachy and a Milky Way drink. Just Peachy was fresh and flavorful, with strawberry bits and chia seeds. It had good flavor and not too sweet. One thing I like about unitea is that the prices are very fair and so far, every fruit tea I've gotten has been nicely balanced. The drinks aren't overly bitter from too much tea and aren't syrup sweet like many stores tend to do. I got a passion all day with the jelly swapped for crystal boba and garlic wings to go for about $10, which is great for boba and a little snack. The service is always friendly and if you come at 7-9, they have a 20% happy hour on drinks. So I am not a frequent here but when I came by one day a couple months ago, I left my wallet at the cafe and forgot about it for the whole day. Unfortunately, it was also on a Saturday, so the next day, Sunday, Unitea was closed. BUT, some kind workers actually drove out to my apt on Sunday trying to return it to me and even though I couldn't get it back until Monday, I was so astonished and thankful for that compassionate gesture! So! I've passed by a few times waiting for this place to open, as always. I love boba, so I generally get excited when a new one pops up! Well I got off work early today and figured today was the perfect day to stop by. The shop is very spacious. There's a lot of tables for customers to sit and drink or eat. They also label where to order and pick up your drinks, which was very much appreciated! Now, moving on to the drink. I'm not exactly sure what I ordered because the drink just said green milk tea so I assumed it would taste like green tea/matcha but that's not what the drink tasted like at all. It reminded me of pandan to be honest. This could be what the drink was but I assumed, and regret, not asking what the drink tasted like. It was very acidic and I couldn't finish half of it. The boba was decent and chewy, no complaints there. My stomach was a bit upset after drinking it as well. Not sure if there was just too much sugar or the acidity of the drink but it did not agree with me. I'll be back to try something else, the fruit drinks look worth a try!
