What a beautiful experience! Our tech was Brittany and I ADORE her. She made this experience so lovely for me and my husband. She seemed so excited for us. She has a bright energy, and ensured I was comfortable through the ultrasound. I was getting my ultrasounds through another popular San Diego boutique and it was not nearly as comprehensive. Brittany walked us through all the measurements she was taking which I never had done at the other boutique. The care here was high quality and I will only be coming here moving forward. I had high hopes for this appointment, but unfortunately the experience didn't go as expected. Our appointment was scheduled for 11:00 AM, but we weren't seen until about 11:45 AM. Because of the delay, the timing became difficult for us. My husband had to leave shortly after the ultrasound started, which was really disappointing since we were hoping to experience that moment together. During the ultrasound, the technician performing the scan was being trained by another staff member. I completely understand the need for training, but it did make the appointment feel longer and less smooth than expected. At that point, I asked if I could reschedule because the experience just wasn't going how we had hoped. I was told I only had two weeks to use my credit, which felt a bit restrictive. I ended up requesting a refund and they were willing to provide it, which I appreciated. The staff were kind and professional, and I'm grateful for that. However, the overall experience just didn't match what we were expecting. To be fair, the ultrasound quality was about the same as the ones I've received at my OB/GYN's office. We had such a great experience at Unique US Poway. Came in for a sneak peek view of our baby at 28 weeks to redeem our Groupon. Returned again a week later for a rescan since baby was covering her face. Both our sonographers (Laina and Esperanza) were wonderful and so great at talking through what was being shown on the US. The studio was beautiful, so clean, and had 2 full sofas for whomever you'd like to bring in. The TV screen was MASSIVE, and had such clear pictures! Worst place I have ever been to. I came here with 15 of my family members to see my step-mom's baby in the womb. Mind you we made this appointment 2 weeks ago in advance. We arrive and nobody is here and it is 107° outside and the worker tells us to wait on the managers response. We waited over 20 minutes and still nothing, no call. Then proceed to tell me that the worker called in sick, why couldn't they have called me and told me that before I drove 45 minutes!!!!, notice I still waited 20 minutes here calling them non stop. read more

AMAZING!!! The place is nice, bright and clean. They also sell baby Merch that is so cute and reasonably priced. Maddie was who helped us and my husband and I can't say enough positive things about her! She was so friendly & sweet. You can tell she really loves her job! She was excited to see the baby and genuinely seemed happy for us. After having a miscarriage in 2018, I feel like I have a little PTSD and just want to make sure baby is still growing and ok. I'm only 15 weeks so I can't feel him yet, so I decided to book an appointment. I did so the day before appontment and it was quick and easy. I had booked an appointment for my friend because I was coming into town and I heard wonderful reviews about unique ultrasound. Unfortunately, our visit was not the best. Both my friend and I felt very awkward. The tech didn't talk to us. My friend being a first time mom she had lots of questions and concerns about how her baby was positioned, but did not get any reassurance, as far as being told where the head was, the legs, arms, etc. The package we got was on a Groupon so it was definitely a steel but we were not shown 3-D, which is what we paid for ultimately. The B&W images that we received were hard to make out because the quality was not good. Aside from the site itself being very pretty and clean, the customer service really broke it for us. read more
