While there are all kinds of websites & apps to use, having a great travel agent is worth its weight in gold! All is fine on a trip until trouble appears. With a travel agent, you have a REAL LIVE PERSON to call if you run into a snag! A great travel agent like Vicky knows all the tricks and shortcuts that can really bump your trip up to the next level. Having her expertise at the tip of your fingers can provide solutions to problems. Covid restrictions change frequently. She's up to date on the requirements, not just for where you're starting your trip, but also for your trip's destination! What if someone in your party falls ill? What if you miss a connecting flight? THOSE are situations when a seasoned travel agent like Vicky can come to your rescue. Vacations can take many twists & turns. It's the situations that you CAN'T predict, that Vicky can assist with. For example, in 2012, I took my 78 year old mother-in-law to Puerto Rico. The first 3 days were great but unfortunately mom came down with a stomach issue requiring hospitalization. Luckily, Vicky was by our side (via phone) every step of the way! She rebooked our return flight which had to be delayed until mom was better. What was a language barrier for me (as I only speak English) was no problem for Vicky who is multi-lingual. She's a godsend. She's been our treasured travel agent for over 30 years! She goes out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly before, during and after your trip. She's the BEST! When I booked a flight with them to Amman this time I was told I would have 2 checked bags per person, come two days before the flight and I get a call from Jett travel telling me that I actually only have 1 checked bag per person, when I asked why this was I was told that it was to "help save me money". Why is it any of your concern to save me money? I ended up having to take an extra bag just so I could fit what I had with me, a bag that cost me $350 extra. So much for "saving me money". Very shitty business. AVOID THIS AGENCY AT ALL COSTS

When I called to make reservations, I should have received an electronic invoice the following day. I did not receive it until a month later, only because the bride and groom did numerous follow ups -(the company has messed up numerous guests travel arrangements so the bride and groom got involved to help everyone). When I finally received the electronic invoice, it was for the wrong location, not Cancun but Punta Cana Dominican Republic. When I received the paper itinerary a few weeks after that, the dates and names were incorrect. I also noticed that we were placed in the family section of the hotel, even though I made specially clear during booking that we wanted to be in the adult section. I followed up with the travel agency to get this corrected. I had to follow Up about 5-6 times to get any sort of real response - I received excuses like they had been out of town since the last time I emailed them, or just no response at all. Then when I finally received a response of some actual content, I was told that since I booked in January when in fact I booked in early December, and can prove that with our credit card statement. Never during booking was I told that the hotel was sold out. I don't believe it was because we could book the adult section if we did it through a public search engine, i.e. Expedia. In hind sight I wish we had just booked on our own so that we wouldn't have had to deal with all this. This company is extremely unorganized and I would never use them again for travel purposes. Not only are they disorganized, they are rather snarky in responses which is not how you treat your customers. What is more concerning is that travel arrangements could easily get screwed up by them because of how unorganized they are.
