I was a loyal client at Skin Vitality and had excellent results from my first two filler…read moresessions--I loved my lips and felt confident. Unfortunately, my third visit was very different. The injector significantly overfilled my lips and, even though she assured me they looked beautiful, I disliked them immediately and they never settled. When I returned a week later, I was told dissolving the filler was risky because it could affect my natural lip tissue. That warning scared me into waiting it out, even though I was deeply unhappy. I was also informed it would cost $200 to fix the issue. In my view, a clinic should stand behind its work and ensure patient satisfaction, especially when the outcome is visibly poor. I eventually went to another clinic where my lips were safely dissolved and refilled--no problems at all. There are far better injectors out there. Skin Vitality's customer service was equally disappointing: they make the process convoluted to avoid accountability and respond with the same generic "contact customer care" message. They really couldn't care less. To make matters worse, clients are encouraged to post positive reviews in exchange for free Botox units, which helps explain their inflated ratings. Although it was not a life or death concern, it indeed, made me self-conscious and I tried to hide it under make up since I can remember. Lucky for me Mary opened her clinic about a year ago where I had a free consultation with her and recommended me 3 sessions of Picosure Laser to remove the black spot. Instead of jus t having the treatment to vanish the spot I did my whole face to also get rid of brown sun spots and fine lines. To my astonishment after the first session my face looked like a porcelain doll's. The black spot on my nose also was lighter and after the last treatment it is virtually gone. I don't have to put make up on it anymore because you can not see it. I am forever glad to have found this clinic. I keep coming back for other treatments they offer. The prices are reasonable.
