Chaos is a fun spot. They had eight beers on tap including black IPA, a Farmhouse Ale, Kentucky Common, Coffee Stout, Cream (9.0&!), Imperial Stout (10.2%), Pale Ale, Tropical Ale and after trying two, I settled on the Berliner Weisse that they call "Le Champagne Du Nord" that was tasty. I would have preferred something lighter but this is what's here today. Pizza with it was tasty. Design it on a slip by circling styles and toppings, it takes a few minutes for your beeper. Lots of seating both at the bar, at six-and eight-top tables and some comfy chairs. It's not overly decorated but it's comfortable and a fun hangout. Prices were good and there is free street parking and a lot in the back. [Review 214 of 2025 - 411 in Missouri - 23778 overall]

The owner/operator is a pleasant chap and knows his way around cigars. I think the smoking rooms could use a few more ashtrays, cutters and lighters but I usually went during the day so maybe he puts more out during peak times. Upstairs is the members only section. There's a nonmembers cutting fee to smoke in the lounge. Not a fan of those in general but Joplin isn't exactly a high volume city so it's understandable.
