The sample bar was an added bonus because it helped to complete the sale of a bourbon that we had never had. We left with a bottle for ourselves and some as gifts for friends. Honestly, it was the best experience while staying in Joplin. Far better than our experience at the local restaurant that followed.

Chaos is a fun spot. They had eight beers on tap including black IPA, a Farmhouse Ale, Kentucky Common, Coffee Stout, Cream (9.0&!), Imperial Stout (10.2%), Pale Ale, Tropical Ale and after trying two, I settled on the Berliner Weisse that they call "Le Champagne Du Nord" that was tasty. I would have preferred something lighter but this is what's here today. Pizza with it was tasty. Design it on a slip by circling styles and toppings, it takes a few minutes for your beeper. Lots of seating both at the bar, at six-and eight-top tables and some comfy chairs. It's not overly decorated but it's comfortable and a fun hangout. Prices were good and there is free street parking and a lot in the back. [Review 214 of 2025 - 411 in Missouri - 23778 overall]
