I received multiple text messages reminding me to confirm my appointment, which I did. I also confirmed through the official link they sent. In addition, a few days before my appointment, I personally spoke with a member of their team to not only reconfirm my appointment time, but also to go over details of the service so I would be fully prepared. On top of all of that, I placed a deposit to secure my time slot. At that point, there should have been absolutely no confusion regarding my appointment. However, on the morning of my appointment, I received a text with a completely different time than what I originally booked and confirmed multiple times. There was no prior notice, no explanation, and no request for approval -- just a unilateral change. About an hour later, I received a call from the business asking why I was "late." That was honestly shocking, considering they were the ones who changed the time without my consent. I calmly explained that my appointment had been altered on their end without my knowledge. Instead of taking accountability, I was then told they wouldn't be able to accommodate me at the time I originally booked and paid for -- unless they could rearrange other clients' appointments. Let that sink in: my confirmed appointment was now dependent on whether other customers were willing to move. They said they would call me back after checking. When they did, they informed me that they still couldn't honor my original appointment time because the other clients didn't want to switch. So essentially, despite: * Confirming my appointment multiple times * Speaking directly with staff days prior to verify details * Receiving repeated confirmation messages * Paying a deposit * Being a new client trying to establish business ...I was the one left without service due to an error on their end. This is not just poor customer service -- it's a complete lack of organization, accountability, and respect for clients' time. Changing an appointment without consent and then refusing to honor the original booking is unacceptable in any service-based business. What's most disappointing is that there was no real effort to resolve the issue or make things right. No priority given to a confirmed, paid appointment. No meaningful apology. Just a "we can't accommodate you." First impressions matter, and unfortunately, this experience made it clear that this business does not value its clients or operate with professionalism.
