Little did we know we'd just stepped into the fashion capitol of Ottawa, LaynaBella's. Immediately we were greeted by the manager and asked if we needed any help. I told her we were just browsing but that we would let her know if we needed help...and like a great customer service rep, she gave us the time to take in all the trendy and stylish clothes this place has to offer. The selection of women's clothes, jewelry and accessories is pretty diverse and there seemed to be a little bit of everything for everyone, however this place did focus on trendy, stylish and amazing clothes that rival the styles of bigger chain stores such as Bebe, American Eagle, Arden B and others. Beautiful and sexy heels, dresses, shirts and shorts all around in this seasons best colors and patterns. My wife found beautiful color necklaces and shoes...at REALLY good prices. Everything seemed to be of good quality and at a decent price. No inflated pricing here. What I didn't expect to find, but was glad I did, was a men's section with stylish t-shirts, button up shirts, shorts. I ended up purchasing a great graphic print t-shirt and easily found my size with no problem. The men's selection was actually pretty impressive considering this is a town of only 18K people. I have trouble finding stylish clothes in Dallas that aren't meant for 12 yr old boys...this place carried up to 3X shirts for men and sizes XS to XL for women. Checking out was just as impressive. The store uses the Square register app for iPad. A quick swipe of my card, and my receipt was emailed to me within seconds and I was out of the store with my purchase. Visa, Mastercard, Discover and Amex and of course cash taken here. In talking with the manager, I discovered the store was completely decorated and furnished by the owner Beth Hoffert who, according to her works all the time to keep the store looking trendy, stylish and just plain cool. This store is definitely the center of the fashion world in Ottawa, Illinois and is more of the type of store you'd find in downtown Chicago, Dallas or another major city. If you're in the area and are a fashionista or are just looking for a good deal, this place is a must see!

I got followed around to a harassment degree. I've never been so disgusted with customer service or should I say the lack of. First off their clothing is even good enough quality for the price gouging they try to do. It's stuff you can legit find on a shein or a temu website. Honestly the quality on those websites are nicer than the quality at lady di. These are rude bigoted old ladies trying to get rich off of poor quality items. Save yourself the humiliation of being followed like some sort of criminal and buy somewhere else. This store shouldn't even be allowed to stay in business. I also saw from other reviews that other had the same experience I did. It's absolutely shameful behavior. You lost a customer in me and I will always let everyone know what experience I had there as well so they too don't get treated like a criminal. When I say follow around it was extreme. Like they got very close to me and made sure to stare at every single thing I looked at like I was a criminal ready to run with the items in my hands. It was really bad and uncalled for. I found some shoes that I liked and one of the workers walked by and I asked if the red sticker items were an additional 50% off, the worker said yes. So I spent an hour in the store looking for shoes for my grandchildren, found some for them. I then went to the register to pay for the shoes and to my surprise they did not ring up 50% off. I then questioned the worker that told me that they were 50% off and the worker stated no, only the ones with the round 50% on them. I wouldn't have wasted my time in the store if the worker did not tell me the wrong information.

Then realized it wasn't a bride appointment but a bridesmaid, this right here clearly shows you their lack of willingness to make any effort toward our group as the clients as they didn't even know the details of the appointment. The woman acted like she didn't want to help or touch half of the bridesmaids who were trying on, specifically ones of color. It was atrocious!!!! Since we were so disappointed with the bridesmaid portion my friends decided to try on a few bride dresses. The woman would barely clip her; had zero patience and sent her out to show off the gowns with it falling off of her. When she was close to finding the one and it was also the dress her mother chose, the woman kicked her out of the fitting room and said "well you can't try anymore on your time is up" and immediately started whisking away gowns leaving my friend in the dress alone in fitting and had to have her mom help her out of it. Absolutely despicable. I will warn everybody to stay FAR away from this place and leave a review on every platform I can. DO NOT give them your business.

Once I gave him the green light he pulled two suits off the rack and explained things about the styles I still do not fully understand. One suit was pure black and the other had some faint stripes while I walked in wanting the black I bought them both and ended up liking the stripe suit better, it is actually my go to suit, were as my black one is more back up. Every suit that leaves the door is tailed to fit you 100% if you have a arm 1/16 of an inch shorter than the other it gets taken care of. When ever I purchase another suit it will be fro Bells clothing and Pat Graham will be the one working with me on it.
