However, care frequently shifted away from these stated goals, with repeated comments about unrelated concerns and unsolicited suggestions for Botox and anti-aging packages. As a young woman who was not seeking anti-aging care, this felt inappropriate and reflective of toxic beauty standards rather than patient-centered treatment. Communication was inconsistent. Treatment plans changed between visits with little proactive explanation, and limitations or alternatives such as medical dermatology options like retinoids or hormonal evaluation were not clearly discussed. Instead, when results did not improve, I was repeatedly told that there was another package or newer treatment that would finally address the issue. This created a never-ending cycle of upgrades and add-ons, with no clear endpoint or explanation of why previous packages were no longer sufficient. I was also uncomfortable with professionalism and boundaries. During treatments, staff frequently held conversations, including about other customers, while I was present.
