I'm not sure how they have good reviews because I left here with completely destroyed lashes. I went for a lash lift and I swear the girl who did them..it must have been her first day. She was fumbling around, didn't even secure my bottom lashes, and I left with burnt lashes. They were a mess going in different directions and looked like hair that was put under a flame and burned. It took me so long to get them healthy again, I tried every product to make them look even semi-normal. I was truly traumatized. The place did not look clean or professionally set up either. Obviously I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone or go back.

Maybe if I was bolder, I wouldve inquired. They sell a number of sugar scrubs and other products that you can use after your sugaring/waxing appointment at home. At 2:30pm, a technician came out with another customer who'd just finished and greeted me after closing out her appointment. I was definitely nervous but my technician put me at ease with light conversation and music (they let you choose what music you want when you schedule your appointment). I had initially made my appointment for sugaring but I was told that my hairs were too short and that wax would work better. I was a bit disappointed because I'd read about sugaring, but happy that my technician was able to provide good advice. It didn't hurt nearly as much as I expected it to. She's constantly taking new courses, and studying new techniques to grow her business. She's patient, knowledgeable, and after 4-5 years of seeing her I don't trust anyone else with my face and skincare recommendations. Thank you, Crystal!! I've been seeing Crystal for about a year now. I get so many compliments on my lashes - they look natural enough, but I don't wear any makeup except foundation so they really stand out. She's amazing and I refuse to see anyone else. Her new space is so comforting that I almost want to keep my eyes open while my lashes are being done :) now that she's in Rockville, it's not exactly an easy commute for me (living in Lake Ridge, VA), but she's so worth the extra miles. My first lashes appointment was with Fernanda and they looked great, but they all fell out when I went on vacation and my face was assaulted by the wind and salt water of the Pacific - I also didn't know you have to wash them to prevent oily buildup, so yeah. I came back two weeks later with literally no extensions left and had to pay for a full set all over again rather than a touch-up. I do wish they had told me about needing to wash them, because I really wasn't provided with the full aftercare instructions the first time I got them. But, now I know. They sell a special foam wash and gentle applicator for the soap here, which I recommend purchasing. My second session was with Viktoriia, who is absolutely incredible.
