Got a Groupon for a microderm treatment with deep cleansing facial, I think it was around $30 (then you pay tax afterwards). Best way to book an appointment is to call; they don't reply to emails or check facebook messages. Really thorough treatment, one of the best ones I've had! The lady wasn't pushy at all with upsell and told me to let her know if at any time it's too much and I want her to stop. I wasn't as red as other times I do microderm, just come out very shiny (which is normal, from the sunscreen). I like how she explained each process before doing it. She started with cleaning my face, then a deep exfoliation, let it sit for 5mins then wiped off. Then she did the microderm (about 3-4 times over the same areas), a steam and black head extractions (which are painful! so needling sharp I got a bit teary lol). Finally, I opted for a vitamin peel mask ($20) which was nice and cold. Let that set for 10 mins, then wipe off, applied cream and sunscreen and you're done! The whole process took an hour. It's with sadness, that I am updating my review. I still stand by what I said in my previous review that the laser hair removal machine they use is top quality and Rojin (who did 5 out of 6 of my laser hair removal appointments) is very skillful and friendly. However, poor customer service is what made me update this review. As mentioned, for the first 5 sessions, Rojin was my technician and to my knowledge, she was the only technician there at that point. When I walked in for my 6th session, I was told that Rojin was not there at that time and someone new would be my technician that day (this should have been discussed with me beforehand because I had paid for my sessions to be performed by Rojin and not anyone else). Anyway, as I go through with the session and I can tell that this new person is not as experienced as Rojin is because I could barely feel the laser on my skin even after telling her that she might want to increase the intensity. After going home and waiting a few days, I could totally tell that the last session was basically a waste of money as I hadn't seen any results (I was able to see noticeable results after a few days of all my laser hair removal appointments with Rojin). Without having any expectations, I called the clinic to let them know of my experience. When the receptionist picked up the phone, I politely told her that I was unsatisfied with my last session as I hadn't seen any results. Being the egotistic and defensive person that she is, she literally started going off and yelling at me that what I was saying was not true and it's impossible for me to not have seen any results throughout the 6 sessions and that I'm the only person complaining and that all their other customers are happy. Being put in a state of shock by her reaction and having to experience being yelled at by a receptionist for the first time, I waited for her to calm down and stop yelling. Then I proceeded to quietly tell her that I was only talking about the last session and not the entire experience as a whole. Realizing that she had greatly overrated, she went on to say "oh okay honey, I misunderstood you" (she never apologized). I asked if she could ask Rojin to check to see if the right intensity was used on me the last time I was there. She said she would but I never received a callback. She was also supposed to call me on January 13, 2020, to schedule my next appointment but she never did. This proved to me how little they care about having good customer service and returning customers. At no point, did I demand a refund or for my session to be redone, I only called to see if they had a suggestion and in return, got yelled at wrongly due to the receptionist's inability to listen and take criticism. I thought I should also mention that they do not advertise their prices anywhere (or at least they didn't when I went there), they would just quote you on the spot which to me, is very sketchy and unfair as different people could be paying different prices for the same treatment. Also, they would advertise on Groupon to lure clients in but when you called to inquire about the services, they would pressure you to directly purchase from them instead of Groupon which I find to be an unethical and borderline illegal business practice. read more

For Christmas by children gave me a Groupon for the Unique Clinic, Richmond Hill, Ontario for laser hair removal. How exciting right??? Or so I thought..... I called and set up the appointment right away so I could get started. Spoke with the woman on the phone and discussed additional treatments to obtain the results I was looking for. She gave me the prices and we set up the appointment to start the process. As I have had laser hair removal done prior I was not concerned. When I arrived the woman thought I was there for a consultation. This annoyed me as per the womans instructions I had shaved 2 days prior (something I had not done in years) to prepare for my appointment. Imagine after years of waxing to shave (we all know that is so taboo). She then explained that I could NOT use the Groupon on legs (I have reviewed the Groupon many times and it did not say it could NOT be used on legs). So here I am with this Groupon that will not work for legs. So I thought OK, I am here, I have shaved, lets work out other body parts and get started. We went into the treatment room and she proceeded to tell me that even though the woman quoted me a price on the phone that it was incorrect and would in fact be double what she told me. Wow can you imagine. When I told her I was unhappy, she looked at me with such surprise. I guess she is used to people just saying they are willing to spend another $350.00 no problem. After further conversation, we finally left it that she would speak to the woman who took my call and they would call me the next day regarding the prices she gave me. WELL GUESS WHAT. That was last Thru. It is now Tues and I have not received the phone call. Surprise, Surprise!!!!!!! Would I recommend the Unique Clinic to anyone. No Way! Am I getting my money back from Groupon? Absolutely love Unique Clinic! They are professional and very welcoming. I came here after doing laser hair removal with other places and my results with other places/technicians were not effective. Since going here my results have been phenomenal; I began to see results after my first session. Rojin is absolutely awesome! She is knowledgable and will talk you through the process and always make sure you are comfortable. She is also very friendly and makes my appointments very enjoyable. I called Rojin initially a few weeks ago because I saw the posting on Groupon for laser hair removal and she recommended I come in and see her as she can give me a better deal and advised me not to buy from Groupon. She also she would not charge me tax if I bring in cash (sketchy af but ok). (I will be writing an e-mail to Groupon as well to let them know that she likes to scam them. ) She is super ignorant and acts like she cares but she truly just wants you to come in and try to charge you for whatever she can. I went in for laser for my chin and upper lip and she initially quoted me $30 per session which is already much higher than the groupon deal. While she was doing my laser she saw two hairs in my neck area and asked if I wanted to get them lasered and I said ok. At the end of the session she wanted $40 and extra $10 for two hairs, which is crazy but oh well. It gets worse....she then proceeded to tell me that I could use microneedling for my pores and showed me her before and afters after one treatment (after pics were clearly airbrushed and filtered)....I said I will think about it...she was obviously not happy that i did right away for for that scam. After the first session I felt no difference in my hair growth. She told me it is the best machine on the market (Alexander). I had done 8 previous sessions of IPL and after a session I felt a difference. Anyway, my second session was also ok but AGAIN literally no difference. In the beginning she told me I would see a difference after just one session. I don't know if she purposely doesn't increase the intensity but she clearly just wants to scam people. When I went in for my third treatment, I finally told her and the receptionist that I saw no difference and the receptionist and her were both rude and said her 300 other clients don't seem to say that and tried to argue with me. They kept saying I am an exception and 300 other people see a difference. They are both unprofessional and rude. Also, when I came in there was a guy there (which by the way is the first time I ever saw a client in her establishment) and when he went to go pay he was paying $69 for 6 sessions of small area. She is charging me $40 per session for a small area (they could be two small areas, but I am still paying WAYYY more than him). She gave him a deal probably because his mommy is a big client of hers or maybe because he is Iranian like her. Either way, she is super unprofessional and does not know how to conduct a business. After she finished his treatment with him (during the treatment receptionist was trying to "educate" me about laser hair removal) she came out and was asking the receptionist "what should we do" ....Prior to her going in with the guy for his treatment (when I arrived) she was telling me if I am not satisfied then I should not waste my money and both the receptionist and her were implying for me to leave. When she came out she was making me feel VERY unwelcome. I told her "do you want me to leave" she said nothing, I left and she was saying "wait....we are trying to help you" (ya right!!). I advised her she would see my review online and I left. After 30 min she called me and left a cold and non genuine apology. I guess she was scared of this review....welll here it is. She is obviously suffering with customers but it is very clear why. I would give her 0 stars but that option is not available. Don't waste your money guys, go someplace else!!! She is a scammer...she is using Groupon and not crediting them for the advertisement. She does not deserve to have her own business. read more

As always, do your research before you go to any clinic for any sort of cosmetic sessions. I googled the ND YAG and Alexandra Machines from GentleMax Pro and read a ton of reviews before going to the clinic. I highly suggest going to this clinic if you need any laser hair removal! Rojin and her team are amazing at what they do. I went to many laser clinics in the past where they used the Soprano machine and I NEVER got results. I think I wasted over $2000 at other clinics with sub-par machines. I looked up the ND YAG Machine and I found that clinics downtown were charging upwards of $700 a session for full body, but the results were incredible. After searching all over, I found Unique Clinic. They offer the same machine all the downtown boutiques do but with affordable prices that everyone can afford WITH THE ABILITY TO PAY THROUGHOUT!!! Finally a Clinic who didn't ask for the full price of the sessions up front! I originally was skeptical because of my previous experiences with laser, but when I went to the clinic and met with the front desk girl and with the technician Rojin, I knew I made the right decision. I have been body-hair free for months now after 6 sessions with Rojin. Another thing that really stuck out to me was that they don't push packages on people, they didn't make me pay the full amount of the package up front, they said I can pay in smaller amounts throughout my treatment. I had another clinic in North York ask for the full price upfront because they knew I wouldn't get the results, that sort of practice is dishonest in my opinion. read more
