There are multiple parking areas, two walking paths (1 mile and 2 mile). A bridle trail for horses. A boathouse for rentals. A small dock area. Platform for shore fishing. Several small ponds and of course the main Lake. A bathhouse with restrooms, showers and changing areas. A small concession stand. Picnic tables, benches and grills. A pavilion. A Sandy beach and swimming area. Lots to offer for sure. The nature preservation is wonderful. No paved walking paths. But the smaller of the two is fairly flat. They just added an archery location with targets two summers ago. Even if you are not able/want to use the trails, there are still plenty of areas to park and sit or sit at a table and enjoy the outdoors. It's nice that it's not too overwhelming with people as it's size allows for numbers but also for a quiet and calm experience as well. Lots of doggies walk the trails too.

The calendar itself changes monthly, with sturdy cards featuring beautiful photographs from parks all across Summit County. It's a simple piece, but beautiful in its craftsmanship and the story behind it. Events held there and sure to be done right! The bar is well-stocked and their bartenders know how to properly pour great drinks. I've attended many events there and have never had a bad time. The center has extras that customers can rent, such as a Photo Booth, and can contract with a local DJ, photographer, and caricature artist. For less than $6100, the center can host up to 115 people for a wedding that includes food, a DJ, photography, cake, linens, and even 4 hours of open bar. In this economy, that is one heck of a deal! The large banquet hall also has a beautiful fire place that can be lit and they have an in-house officiant if you choose to hold your ceremony and reception in one place. If you're in the market for a wedding venue or a place to hold your next big event, definitely give them a try!

Folks are moving away from home cooked, casserole-style with many ingredients to simple and fresh. Air fry and grill. I will absolutely recommend this venue to my clients in the area. Pollinators (bees, butterflies, moths, etc) are an essential part of the ecosystem. They allow native plants to survive and are important in food crop production. To help fight the decline in pollinators, Cuyahoga Falls planted this butterfly garden at the entrance of High Bridge Glens Park. It has a cute, butterfly themed rod iron entryway. Again, this garden is small, but if you catch it in bloom, I imagine it's magical. I did spot a baby monarch and that made me so happy! I loved the two signs on the property explaining what types of butterflies and flowers you might see. This would be a wonderful place to bring kids and help instill an appreciation for protecting nature. However, because this spot is small, keep that in mind during the pandemic, as it's not a space I'd care to share with anyone at all. I want to live in a world where our pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies, aren't at such a high risk of extinction. Great job to the City of Cuyahoga Falls!

Exploring the trails were the reason we came to this location this afternoon. We did bring our dogs and kept them on leash the full time without any issues! The dogs loved the fresh air & being in nature. If possible I would deduct a half star for the user friendliness of the trails. The trails intertwined, overlapped, & were not marked well for first timers. There was a post with multiple trails at the start & a map. However, there were not any other markers after, even when the trails overlapped & intersected. Overall a wonderful location!! Just plan some extra time to trouble shoot the trails if your a first timer like we were!

There's a little something for everyone here…read more This part features (from their website): a picnic shelter, restrooms, fully- accessible playground, 1.1 mile paved walking track, seven athletic fields used for baseball, softball, soccer and lacrosse, a multi-use track used for skating and bicycling, seven ballfields, six tennis courts, four basketball courts and two sand volleyball courts. I like to walk a few laps around the track when the weather permits. There's usually a few others on the path as well, but it's never been too crowded. One bad thing about the track is there seems to be a lot of goose poop near the pond. I've also shot some hoops on the court before. It gets super busy on the weekends, so you might want to think about going somewhere else unless you're trying to get in on a pickup game. The rims are very stiff as well which doesn't make it very fun. Find a way to get rid of the geese (or at least the poop) and add a fenced in dog park, and this place would get another star.

I live near this park and have been using it for over 60 years. Here is some updated information:…read moreSwimming is no longer allowed. (for humans) Dogs can swim on Thursdays only. There is no charge to get in. The paved road around the lake has been split into a one-way driving/biking road and a with an adjacent walking lane. There is a Hike/bike trail called The Freedom Trail that borders this park. Metro Parks Summit County is going to add a connector trail between them in 2026. The Freedom Trail in this area is a rail trail, so it is pretty flat. There is an area called Tallmadge Meadows that to me is a separate park, because the two areas have very different prior ownership and history, but Metro Parks considers them to be the same park. The parking for Tallmadge Meadows is right around the corner from South River Rd. on South Main St. (Rt 91). There is also a trailhead in Munroe Falls for the Summit County Bike and Hike Trail. It is about a ¼ mile North of South River Rd and runs along the Cuyahoga River. I used to be a Firefighter/EMT in Munroe Falls and it was not unusual for us to get called out to the "Metro Park" and have to ask, "which one"? All 3 of these are great parks and I consider myself luck to live in between them.
