Came back with friends to catch the "American Swindle" show. Those guys put on a great concert! For a neighborhood bar, this place pulls in some good shows. Since Ive been back they have added more craft beers and hired more female staff! :) Both times ive been here the crowd has been solid and "clean". Sometimes it seem its not so busy but then you go on their patio and BOOM, there's the party. Between 50-100 people each time ive come. Bar is clean and decorated well. I feel the staff could have been more attentive but it was pretty busy for just the two bartenders. read more

I ABSOLUTELY love this bar. After I moved here and started coming here the bartenders went out of their way to get to know me. Every time I walk in they have my drinks waiting before I sit down. Super friendly staff and management. They have amazing drink specials every day of the week and great bands throughout the week. I come here by myself and feel safe and enjoy myself. I came here a couple of years ago and the service sucked and the bartender was surly! However, I was heading home and passed here and decided to try again. Heather Smith was bar tendering, she met me with a smile, a handshake and asked me what I needed. For the time I was there she continued the same. I've been back several times and when Heather is there its great. Most of the other bartenders are ok but, they don't make me feel as welcome. Haven't been there since I use to played in a band there years ago. Went to watch the fight which was great because they had plenty of TVs. Only saw one bartender busting her butt, but Heather gave me great service. I went back last night and was surprised to see a great special $2 you call it. Even sang for the open mic night and stayed a little longer because heather was back bar tending. Definitely be back soon. read more

Myself and our group of New Orleans Saints fans go up to Union every game day. We love the accommodation we receive from Randy the owner and his staff. Heather is our normal bartender and she handles our rowdy group of 25-75 fans with only a barback. She also serves the group from behind the bar, is always friendly, fast, and easy on the eyes.
