I never do this, but I just left Speedway express because the creepy old man in there had audacity to turn off every single pump that I attempted to pull up that because in his opinion, he thought that I pulled into the empty gas station too fast when I had stepped out of my vehicle to try to pump my gas I had realized that the pump I was at was turned off so I had assumed it was just that pump until I pulled up to the next one and he came out of the shop and came up to me and said you're driving too fast and I told him I had to go around in a circle to look for an open pump since the one I went she was turned off when I had realized he was just turning off every pump that I was pulling up at I have came to the gas station plenty of times before it is the closest gas station next to my job and I was on an empty tank and just needed to get some gas to make it to the house.. this man made me extremely uncomfortable and I would not recommend coming to this place unless you were going to pump gas at the tank and leave.

NARRATIVE: I recently stayed at the Naval Base Point Loma Annex and ended up driving here the NEX for cheap gas, not knowing the gas station was temporarily closed for refurbishment. So, I did the next thing I could do. I went inside to check out the prices of alcohol and to buy a few red "bomb" burritos. Because this NEX isn't near any of the big bases, they seem to carry a little bit of everything. From alcohol and snacks to, uniform items for both enlisted and officer's. It's a nice place to grab something quick but, you may pay more for the convenience. SCENE: This NEX store (number 472) and gas station are located on Nimitz Blvd at Rosecrans St. During normal business hours, there are no gates or guards to keep you out but, the gas station normally has an attendant who checks for authorized persons and, if you shop inside the store. They will require ID on check-out. RECOMMENDATION(S): Not a huge store but, the NEX gas station prices are normally $.5 and maybe more cheaper than a civilian station. If you have a Star Card. I stopped at a few places trying to buy my lottery tickets but no one knew how to print multiple lines and two draws. When I walked into Shell, I asked Ciris if she knew how and she said "No". I sighed and said "ok, thanks anyway" and she said "wait, let's figure it out." Which she did. It was just so nice to have that kind of customer service. She was very nice, had patience and didn't just say "sorry, try somewhere else". Ciris is the kind of employee that customers remember and that businesses want because she actually cares about trying to help a customer. Well done Ciris! I will see you again. And Thank you!
