I usually just pay at the pump. But the few times I have gone in, it's been fine...... Well..anyways. I wanted to write about my experience with a wonderfully helpful employee named Ciris. I stopped at a few places trying to buy my lottery tickets but no one knew how to print multiple lines and two draws. When I walked into Shell, I asked Ciris if she knew how and she said "No". I sighed and said "ok, thanks anyway" and she said "wait, let's figure it out." Which she did. It was just so nice to have that kind of customer service. She was very nice, had patience and didn't just say "sorry, try somewhere else". Ciris is the kind of employee that customers remember and that businesses want because she actually cares about trying to help a customer. Well done Ciris! I will see you again. And Thank you!

The attendant Reed refused to turn on the air for us stating it is for customers only. Thankfully some nice strangers were there and let us sneak some of thier air so we didn't have to walk back with flat tires to get the three dollars he wanted me to pay. This gas station is literally the closest to my home and I will happily drive past it now everytime. In fact I will probably avoid all Shell stations. Bad experiences create lingering negative feelings.

It may be off the freeway at Pacific Beach, but just a few cents cheaper goes a long way in the end. 4/5 for its location, but also because it is adjacent to old neighborhoods. $4.29 a gallon (paying with either card or cash) for Supreme with Techron is a pretty good price.
