WORST SERVICE EVER!!!! I called to get my windshield…read morereplaced and for convenience they came to my house to do it. The guys showed up an hour late and put their tools on the hood of my car - no towel to protect the paint we had to bring them one. They were in and out in no time and cracked my dash in the process. I called to speak with the owner the next day and he was out - they said he would call back. This went back and forth for 2 weeks before i FINALLY got ahold of him. He told me to come in so he could look at it - when we got there for our 10am appt he conveniently stepped out so we waited almost an hour for him to come back. He looked at my car and then told me I lying that his guys couldn't have done this. He told me he also owns a scrap yard and will wait for another car of the same to come in and he will take the dash from that and replace it...after arguing with him for almost 30 mins. He was so unbelivably rude and spoke down to me the entire time. This happened in April and i never heard from him again. This place sounds great because its cheap - its cheap for a reason. I will happily pay more money for a Speedy or Apple auto glass next time - I will never make this mistake again. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Stay away!!

Stephen Smit seems to take considerable pride in "over-delivering" to new and repeat clients,…read morealike. I have, for years, found Stephen to be honest, knowledgeable, conscientious, and reliable. When I was there last, and at other times prior, Stephen did minor repairs that were not part of the original estimate; however, the final bill has always remained identical with the original estimate. Furthermore, not once has Stephen failed to have my car ready on time. In my opinion, Stephen is an honest businessman, taking pride in offering exceptional service and value for your money. By the way, ladies, I can also confirm that Stephen is equally respectful of women clients as he is of men. I am pleased to submit this review, based not only on my experience, but also on that of friends and family to whom I have referred to Smit Auto Body in Burlington.
