When I entered the shop and advised the person behind the counter that I had an appointment, he asked if I was looking for the body shop next door (I never understood why). Anyhow, my safety test passed, while I was advised that my tires are starting to get close to needing to be replaced. After paying for the service and getting my safety certificate, I asked for my keys, and was advised that they were still working on my vehicle, even though I was told that they were done before they collected the payment. When my vehicle was about to be returned to me, I was asked if it's normal that all of the warning lights on the dash are on, and was told that this wasn't the case when the vehicle was being driving into the garage (I definitely appreciated the honesty). It turned out that they left my headlight switch to "auto" and for some reason my headlights never turned off while the vehicle was being inspected, so the battery got low. Eventually it was suggested that I try driving my vehicle for a bit to see if the warning lights would clear, and driving a few hundred meters from the shop did indeed clear them. So all-in-all, I would likely return to this shop, considering I was very happy with the availability in appointments and the price was very reasonable as well for the safety test, which I need to get done on my vehicle at least once a year for one of my jobs. I will just need to remember to set my headlight switch to "off" before handing them the keys, just to be safe :-)

Ryan Stevens, the Body Shop Manager took a look and provided us with three options: 1) They would heat it up and try to pop it out. This would be free 2) #1 but then try to fix it up if necessary - no quote was provided for that as it would be difficult to know what was needed until they tried Option 1, or 3) Replace the bumper - a printed estimate was provided for us to take home (~ $1,000). Ryan didn't think this would be needed. He said that we could call the next day to let us know what we decided, but recommended we try Option 1 and go from there. We called the next morning as soon as they opened and were told we could come in immediately and that it would take about 30 minutes-an hour. 45 minutes after we arrived we were leaving there with a bumper that looked perfect. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. The place has a small family business feel versus a sleazy let's make a buck feel. We appreciated not having to pay for any labour since it still did take a bit of time to provide us with a quote and pop back the bumper. Thank you so much Miltowne Collision.

We brought our vehicle into the shop to be serviced under the manager and owner of this store - Angelo Martins. After the vehicle was involved in a collision, we were assured that it was in good hands, given the good reviews. The vehicle was promised to be returned within a week. After that period passed, we contacted Angelo regarding the return of our vehicle, only to be notified that it wasn't going to be ready for another week. First red flag. Thus, we contacted the insurance company, which told us that they would not cover addition time that was not initially agreed upon due to Angelo's request for an extended time. After calling Patricio Auto again, we were reassured that the vehicle would be available the next day. Isn't that funny? Here's what happened: When we picked up the vehicle the next day, we noticed that it had been driven OVER 110 KM WITHOUT OUR CONSENT. This was done without permission, authorization, notice, OR OUR KNOWLEDGE. This is ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE. Patricio Auto was not aware of the fact that we had taken pictures of the mileage use before and after the car was left for repair. 110+ KM on the mileage!! You can make FOUR COMPLETE TRIPS from Mississauga to Toronto with that distance covered. Our family was sincerely concerned: What if the vehicle was involved in a parking infringement, traffic violation, or worse - a crime? Usage of a vehicle that is NOT YOURS and without the permission of the owner is CAR THEFT. This is quoted from Toronto Police (read below). When we confronted Angelo regarding this matter, he denied it and said he had no idea how this could have happened. BULLSHIT! You are the OWNER OF PATRICIO AUTO, and any other management staff who could have potentially used it would have cleared it with you first! How dare you lie to our faces. We trusted you with our vehicle and you betrayed that trust. It is NOT YOUR VEHICLE to decide whether or not you want to take it for a little joyride to KFC. It gets better: Then Angelo promises us that he would detail our car for free if we didn't file a complaint or report this incident. This was huge red flag number two. Since then, we have filed a report and flagged our vehicle during the time that it was under Patricio Auto's Maintenance with Toronto Police with specific details regarding this auto shop - as well as filed a complaint report and spoken with an investigating detective. Details of Patricio Auto, as well as the owner, Angelo Martins was also requested and given to Toronto Police. They quoted directly that such an incidence is defined as unauthorized use and THEFT OF A VEHICLE. Furthermore, our family is now filing an official complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario Ministry, The Better Business Bureau, as well as the Small Claims Court. BUYER BEWARE! We are absolutely disgusted with Angelo, and Patricio Auto's lack of integrity and honesty regarding this matter and will never return or suggest this shop to friends or family. This honest review was not made for the purpose of intimidation or out of resentment. We are hoping that no more potential customers will experience this lack of honesty from an auto shop that needs to be held to the real expectations of the reputation it has claimed to enjoy.
