I love how everything is color coded and wish more stores would organize like this. Every employee I encountered was very friendly and helpful. I did notice that they were diligently interactive with me after I picked up a $100 blouse- as they should be on a busy Saturday! But I really appreciated the small talk and direction from Randie, who gave me the brief on where to find everything, and the brief on the sister store Nextdoor. This store is a bit out of my way, but now knowing what they carry I definitely see myself returning here when I am feeling like I want to treat myself. As I am someone who prides in ensuring clothes don't go to landfill and trying to reuse or recycle as much as I can (I shop thrift a lot) I was very pleased to see that they take overflow items from designers. My only bummers were when I got home, the nice gentleman at the register unfortunately left one of the security tags on a sweater, leaving me to figure out how to break it off. It happens, but gosh dang! And then the same sweater had a bit of a small but obvious stain on it. And while I know it's already deeply discounted, it wasn't in the clearance section. So when I asked if they might consider anything additional on the top, he kindly explained how the store handles stuff like this and that basically there is a waiting period of it doesn't sell. Got the suit, the pants were at least 12 inches too long (honestly comical) - I was then told they "fit great" by the employee I was working with. When I asked for them to be tailored & stated to multiple employees they didn't fit at all (nothing on the person I was working with) the manager... said no we won't tailor them (after I said I'd pay for that to be done). I proceeded to get recommendations of places to go INSTEAD of them doing a simple quick job. If you want more stress on yourself, less on them... get your suits here.

I like to give the benefit of doubt but this is so very unprofessional. If you're not going to be open as your hours post online and on the door- put a "closed" sign up. My rating is a "0." I will be taking my business to another more available, reputable and professional scrub store.

Those two things are game-changers for this location and it now deserves a second look if you had soured on it in the past. Adding men's Landau scrubs now gives it a respectable selection of styles to choose from and, as long as you're willing to give jogger scrub pants a try, the guys should be able to find a pant that meets their needs.

Their Land's End Canvas line is like a cheaper and simpler version of J. Crew and is great for basics. Oxford cloth button downs, check. Sweaters in classic colors, check. The best part of Land's End? They take returns anytime on any item for any reason. A button on a pea coat I had fell off and I was kind of sick of the jacket... so I returned it. Full refund back on my card, no questions asked. I personally hate shopping at the Sears location. Something about Sears smells terrible. Literally, the stench. This location is better, although their selection is always random. Luckily, they have now started carrying some of the Canvas line, which is great. The one thing I don't like is their customer service from employees. Not very helpful ever (it's a bunch of moms). Overall though... always worth a 5 minute stop if you're over there to check out their selection. I scored a nice Canvas blue oxford for $22 (originally $50) last time.

I entered the promotional code, clicked on "place my order" and got the usual order confirmation and order number for tracking my order. Several days later (and I admit, I didn't print my orde confirmation or get an email, which did strike me as odd, but I assumed foolishly that it was in my junk mail) I logged in to check the progress of my order, and found out that it didn't exist. I spoke with an online customer service rep, who was definitely NOT helpful, nor respectful. Her comments pretty clearly indicated she had no intention of quickly assisting me in making the order. My items were still in my bag, and from her perspective it was user error. The new price on my items was more than double the price on the day of the order. Considering the fact that the company has sales daily, her comments were surprisingly not helpful. I have made my purchase from Appleseeds, and I am done giving money to a company that employs or supports rudeness. Rudeness is not part of my value system. Even if the entire country turns to rude behavior, I will not and I won't shop there any more. I have been a customer for nearly 30 years. I am done.
