a slice of pepperoni pizza on a paper plate

Really delicious pizza! I needed a quick bite to eat for lunch and this was my 1st time here but will now definitely be back when I'm in the area again. The crust is perfect, both tender and crunchy, and the sauce is really delicious. The restaurant is very clean.

I forgot to mention the service i sm sorry. The driver / delivery was excellent top notch. Thank you

Large lunch buffet...little pricey. Should be a few less dollars.

I have been eating at Unida Pizza in Danville for many many years, and I couldn't be happier to see them open a restaurant location in Bloomsburg. This restaurant is in the old Luigi's Pizza location, but one visit and you will see that everything has changed, from the additional parking across the street to the removal of an interior wall for a roomier and better lit main room, to the new outdoor seating! I visited for dinner this week and, not feeling like having pizza, I ordered the Chicken in the Garden hot sub, which is breaded chicken with vegetables. The chicken is breaded with Italian bread crumbs as well, which added more flavor. Overall this sandwich was fantastic! My family ordered some of the Unida famous specialty pizzas, which are one of my favorite things about this establishment. We had the Pierogie pizza (mashed potatoes, ham, cheese, and onions in butter, one of my favorites!) and a Taco pizza (everything you might expect on a taco, but served on a pizza!). My girlfriend absolutely loves the spaghetti at the Danville location and I can't wait to get back to the Bloomsburg one to try it out! From the new appearance, outdoor seating, local beverages (Big Bens Soda!!!), specialty pizzas, and the great sub that I had, I definitely recommend this pizza place!

    Pepperoni pizza

All pizza reviews are very subjective, this place serves thin crust so I obviously like it more. Got a pepperoni pizza and the sauce is semi sweet but not overly sweet at all. A bit too salty in my opinion, but it's still a very good pizza. Standard order time. Biggest gripe is paying 18$ for a pizza, especially a thin crust pizza.

Well my search is over for delicious pizza in Bloomsburg. Nice thin crispy crust, perfect amount of cheese & sauce. Add pepperoni and you're in heaven! Super clean, friendly owner and easy parking!

We ordered a party pizza tonight and it's burnt all the way around the edges. After calling the restaurant I was told that they are normally burnt and they would not replace it. Poor customer service and Pizza, save your money and don't patronize this restaurant.

    Thin crust pizza.

For those who don't mind reading, we will start with the look and location. It's in a tiny strip mall that is behind a Taco Bell. There is no sign for the tiny strip mall for this place. It is only on the building. When you go in, you can tell the place was recently done (within the past year or two, I would guess). It looks nice enough considering strip mall food places get a bad rep. The only odd thing I noticed about the place were the little stripes of paint that no one seemed to wipe off of some of the wall tiling. Other than that, it was nice for the space that they had. A really cool thing to look at are the pictures on the wall that someone took off their family and vacation. They're time stamped and clearly blown up, but it's someone who clearly wanted to capture what they loved. Food: The food was overall good and would order just about everything again. For the appetizer, we ordered fried zucchini. It was surprisingly good. I often would get it from places, and it would be mush. They fried it with perfect timing. The marinara sauce given with it was superb for what it was served with. We wanted to keep it simple, so we ordered a meatball hoagie and a plain pizza. The meatball hoagie was the only thing that was underwhelming. The amounts of everything given on it were fine but the meatballs were bland made the hoagie, sadly, a little tasteless other than the cheese. I always expect a flavor blast when eating meatball hoagies (probably because that's how my mom made them when I was a kid, and I make them today). By no means was it bad, but it certainly wasn't good. It was there and that was that. "What kind of moron orders a plain pizza and judges it?" ME! That's who. Your plain pizza is what you base all of your other pizzas on. The sauce to cheese ratio was to my liking. That means it had average amounts of both. It was a thinner pizza and slightly crisp (in no way burnt). The sauce for the pizza was seasoned nicely and the little bit of seasoning that goes on top of the cheese was just enough to give an edge. It was a savory pizza sauce. You know the kind of pizza where the crust is just too much, and it seems like a chore to eat? That was definitely NOT the case here. I kind of wish I ordered some marinara to go with my crust. Overall, a pretty good pizza. Because I was overall impressed, I ordered a cannoli. I REALLY like cannolis but had my fair share of bad ones. But Carini's had one of the better ones. I would suggest getting one (they're only $3.50). It's a sweet one where they put the chocolate chips in. If you're in the area and need a pizza or just some food in general, I would try here and test it yourself. Some things to take note, they use Styrofoam cups for their drinks and have clean bathrooms.

To preface this review…read more This establishment is ran by the same people that used to have a place called "The Bull Pen" in a town I grew up in. The food is exactly as I remember. It fills me with a lot of nostalgia so I have to be wary of that guiding my review. Pros... From an objective point of view their pizza is very good. It is a sweet sauce pizza (so be wary of that if sweet sauce isn't your cup of tea) and it is laid out and baked with cornmeal rather than flour. I love this combination of flavors and feel it makes a unique and tasty, not overly sweet, sweet sauce pie. Sweet sauce is not always my go too but it pairs wonderfully with their "creamy mild" dipping sauce. The mix of these greasy flavors are sure to knock your socks off! Their fried food is also quite good! Worth adding an appetizer sampler onto your order to give them a try! Cons... My girlfriend got a creamy mild chicken pizza but honestly was not the biggest of fans. Felt the chicken was cut too thick and not enough sauce was on the pie. Laura almost ALWAYS wants less sauce on a pizza so that is odd. She felt it was dry. In conclusion! Overall this is a great pizza place. Worth a try if you are open to sweet sauce. Maybe avoid the creamy mild chicken pizza?

It's a local institution for a reason. Fun name and great slices. You'll be happy, probably.read more

Besides the staple menu, there was a rotating menu featuring a soup, mussel dish, flatbread, burger, and pasta. The food took some time to come out, and everything was rather bland across the board. The interior was decorated nicely for the holidays though. *Hummus Platter: a huge shareable for $10. The crispy naan resembled the Costco version but fried. The naan itself worked well as a base for the hummus, although the hummus was neither smooth nor flavorful. There was no fragrance from the chickpeas, and it tasted rather unseasoned. The selection of peppers, carrots, and cucumbers was decent. *Garlic Butter Mussels: their monthly mussel dish. The mussels were cooked well and coated in a one dimensional sauce. The sweet wine was cooked down with lots of garlic, while the butter was subtle. I wished there had been a bit more toasted baguette to balance the one pound of seafood. Note there is a 3% credit card surcharge. I could not find this listed on their menu and but I saw the charge on my receipt. I enjoyed the few beers I had, and the food was acceptable for a bar. With some improvement to the flavors, this could be a worthwhile visit for a bite and a drink.

The fork in the picture is for reference only as the food was completely inedible. Sadly, we ordered it all to-go & didn't realize it was all terrible until home (over 1/2 hr away). The haddock dinner was burnt, not 8oz OR haddock & it was missing the lemon butter/bread crumb topping as described on the menu but had an abundance of paprika. I believe they switched the haddock dinner order with another paprika haddock dish on the menu - but conveniently forgot to lower the price. The French onion soup was a cup of broth. No croutons or Swiss cheese in it or on the side, as described on the menu. Sadly, this was take-out & we never looked until we got home (over 1/2 hour away). All over-priced as all inedible.
