They have your basic camping, recreational, fishing and outdoor needs. They also sell clothing, shoes and guns. My visit was purely related to kayaking, which is how I'm rating them. In terms of kayak selection, not much available in-store. Then again, it's hard to find a broad selection of kayaks at any place and ones that are affordable. Typically wal-mart would be a better option for cheap and affordable. This location has more high-end, and expect to pay between $650 & $1300 for their models. Thankfully I had already purchased a kayak and only needed gear for it. They have tons of items for your kayak, including: car racks, scooper plugs, fishing rod holder attachment, dry sacks, waterproof phone/laptop cases, paddle holder kits, and repair parts. For what I purchased, I felt like I got a great deal and plenty of variety to choose from. I'd certainly recommend this spot for kayak needs!

While finalizing my purchase, another customer walked off with my bag. I called the store from the parking lot when I realized. The staff admitted they saw it on camera and was going to look for the person in the mall. Called me back and said he couldn't find them. I had to prompt him to ask how they were going rectify it. The "owner " is in the background and says tell her it's your birthday and you need to leave. The young man told me that and that the owner would call back. I asked was he calling me back immediately. He said yes and hung up. Well he never did and he wasn't going to. So I walked in. I met the owner in the store and he met me with aggravation. The owner, instead of offering help, accused me of "pressuring" him just because I needed the situation resolved immediately. I was leaving town for a game which was the whole reason I was there in the first place. It also seemed as though he was insinuating that I wasn't being honest. Telling me they gave me a bag and receipt. Which turn out it was only the new items not the original ones I didn't want to exchange. I remained calm but firm and just asked for basic accountability. Yet he kept tell me I needed to calm down and told me I was threatening him by telling him I was going to have to call the police if this wasn't handled. Sir, that's not a threat. That s what people do when people steal their things !!!! The owner tried to dismiss me, denied the obvious evidence, disregarded his own employee who looked at the footage and called another person to pull up the cameras because he didn't know how. The person over the phone saw the man take the bag. He argued with him saying he did ask that customer and he said "no" as if people don't lie!!!!! Only after the person over the phone doubled down that the bag was indeed taken and described the person did they finally admit the truth. He then asked me what items was I missing and I had to say.... You should start this conversation by offering an apology. No customer should be treated like they're a nuisance, especially when they're the one wronged. I had to witness the owner apologize to other customers about me, as if I was causing a scene when all I wanted was my belongings back. In the end, the footage confirmed exactly what I said all along. If I could have done a refund I would have taken every single item back ! If this store wants loyalty, they need to start by believing their customers and treating people with basic respect. I wouldn't wish this treatment on anyone. I will never spend a dime in this place ever again. I'll drive to Chattanooga to get my Tennessee gear from now on

I had an issue with my bolt carrier group in my AR pistol so I came to GA Firing line to have their team look at it. I was thinking I'd have to drop it off and have it back in a week or two. JT asked what the issue was, took a look at it and fixed it right there on the spot (5 to 10 min tops). Talk about EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I went for training because I have a new rifle and don't want to be irresponsible. The training in the classroom was good but once we hit the range it was super lacking. On top of that the instructor didn't check anyone's head gear, or anything like that to make sure they could shoot safely. My ears are STILL ringing two weeks after my class so I'm pretty sure it's permanent. Which is just GREAT. Further, once we were on the range the instructor didn't help me at all. There were only 3 people in the class. He just told me to shoot rounds and that's it. If I wanted to pay for a power point slide presentation and range time then I would have looked up a YouTube video and then gone to shoot by myself. I paid a lot of money for a class to end up with hearing damage and not feeling ANY better about using the weapon I purchased.

I told her that I had purchased two pairs just before COVID so that I could alternate days of wearing the shoes. The store closed for COVID before I could return the defective pair. Instead of wearing out the one pair, I decided to wear the defective pair until the store reopened. I even showed her both pairs of shoes so that she could see the defect for herself. Both the clerk and manager, whom she called over to examine the shoes, were very nasty and treated me like a criminal, although I did nothing to violate their return policy. I also had my bike tuned up and repaired there. Some of the services for which I had paid were not completed. When I asked to have them done, the mechanic was very nasty. When I took the bike with me on an RV trip across country, one of my riding companions, who is a triathlete, pointed out other problems that should have been repaired. I will never use the repair shop at this location again!
