Tavita and his team were absolutely amazing to work with--professional, communicative, and full of integrity. One of the things that really stood out was how Tavita went above and beyond to make sure everything looked perfect. He decided to redo the exterior of our fire pit at no additional cost because he felt it didn't quite match the overall look. The updated version looks so much better, and we love it. Throughout the project, Tavita brought great ideas to the table. He suggested a diamond-cut pattern in the concrete that ended up looking way better than a plain finish--and it was a lot more affordable than stamping. His eye for detail and creative problem-solving really made a difference. Even when one of his team members accidentally damaged a pillar on our fence, Tavita didn't just fix that one spot--he took the time to repair several other fence sections that weren't even part of the job, all without complaint. That level of care and pride in his work is rare. Everything was done with quality, and communication was top-notch the whole way through. I truly appreciate how proactive he was whenever issues came up--always honest, always respectful, and always had a solution. Pic 1 and 2 - Pavers weren't even affixed to the ground and are now all over the place. I know the contracting business isn't an easy one, there's a lot of variables out of one's control, but at the end of the day the one thing you can control is following through on the promises you make. It's called integrity, and Tevita has NONE. I have countless texts of the promises he has made to come and resolve many issues (I've posted a handful on the review). He has followed through on zero of those promises and I can no longer even get a hold of him. He literally will not respond to me. I will reiterate that these are promises that he made, and expectations that he set. His team even destroyed part of my neighbors lawn, promised to replace the sod, and here we are two years later with nothing resolved. The bottom line is that Tevita's word means nothing to him and I already have a handful of neighbors happy to share similar stories about his empty promises. Don't fall into the same trap.

Our retaining walls were installed after our home build, in an extremely tight and technical work area. Scott and his team worked with precision, painstakingly placing rocks and hand chiseling them so they fit perfectly. They worked with caution around our home and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day. They were easy to work with and we honestly feel so fortunate that we were able to work with them because this project will last the test of time. My hot water heater burst last year, and I was referred to Valley Construction to help with the…read moredemo/rebuild of my laundry room. When it happened, they took care of EVERYTHING. I hardly had to lift a finger. They coordinated with my home owners insurance, called all the right people to do mold tests, their project managers were at my house within a day or two. It was incredible. I had a mold remediation person at my house within an hour to test the damage for any black mold, and the crew was setting up fans to dry out my dry wall and flooring within 24 hours. With the demo, I had to rip out the flooring in my laundry room, and it just made sense to redo the floors in both my kitchen and laundry room so that they matched. They brought someone in for samples, everything was so quick and efficient. I also want to give 5 stars to Mike Stone specifically. He was an incredible project manager, so thorough and thoughtful and kind. I will come back here for any future needs because of him specifically. I did have one minor miscommunication - I was told I could be on a payment plan to pay off the remainder of my bill that insurance didn't cover, however a week after being told this was okay and setting up my payment plan, they called back and told me they no longer do payment plans and that I had to pay my bill by the end of the following week. I had such a wonderful experience leading up to this point, so I didn't want to dock a star, especially because they handled the back and forth with both me and my insurance for months. But did want to flag that for anyone else who may have needed a payment plan, this isn't something that they offer. I would still go back to them and use them in the future. Thank you again for being so efficient and for having such a helpful and caring team!

Valley Construction really overdelivers, I thought I only needed some drywall and baseboards, a bit…read moreof mud and some paint, but I basically got a whole new roommate!! If you need a great team to fumble a job, like you've never seen before, this is the best you're going to get!! I'm truly impressed with how many times I've heard "It'll get done tomorrow, for sure"!! So back on February 4th, which was a reschedule from the 2nd, Valley Construction started work to hang, mud, sand, then paint, about 50sq ft of drywall. They would also install baseboards beneath those sections. Total scope of work was quoted at about 1 -2 days. That should have told me all I needed to know, as mud takes about a day to dry. Either way, as of today, the evening of February 24th, they are still not done. Granted, there was one week where we asked them not to come due to a planned vacation, but we would have never needed to if it didn't take almost two weeks to hang and mud. I don't think I've ever experienced a service provider less communicative about their plan or schedule. They text you either the night before, or the day of and tell you someone will be coming by, and some times that person shows up when they said they would, and some times they send another text mid morning and inform you that they decided to do another job first and that they'd come by in the afternoon instead. Some times, the worker(s) work for a solid block of time, some times they leave and you're left wondering if they just went to lunch or decided to go do a different job. Like an automated response, the PM will always text you and tell you that it will get done the next day "for sure," but you'll never know if the worker(s) will actually show. It completely astounds me that they actually asked for a key to the property, citing that they typically have home owners just let them put a lock box on their door, so that they can come and go as needed if the home owner needs to be at work or otherwise out of the house. I'm fortunate to work from home, which has now turned into it's own set of challenges, but there is no way I would ever give this company a key to my house and let them have the freedom to come and go as needed. We'll see if this get's done tomorrow. They managed to sand and paint about 2/3 of the area during the 6 hours or so they were working here today, which admittedly feels accurate, but I'm not placing bets on them wrapping up everything tomorrow. *** IMPORTANT: END OF USER FEEDBACK. Our leasing office gave me the contact information for Paul who is the guy in charge of the project. I gave him a call and discussed what happened and he wanted photos. I sent them to him and he said he submitted them to a repair shop. I hadn't heard back in a little bit so I followed up and he never responded. Then, signs appeared on the scaffolding saying that the company wasn't responsible for any damage caused to vehicles. Paul has yet to respond to me since his initial request for the photos and informing me he submitted the photos and it's almost been a month since this happened.
