    Underground SF pride weekend
    Julia Y.

While I've never left a review for a club, something here impressed me enough to do so. When I went to order I noticed a bunch of fresh grapefruit and a juicer sitting behind the bar - I ordered a Paloma and saw the bartender juice it straight into my cup! It was truly the best Paloma I've had due to the fresh juice. The bartender also did not skimp me on the tequila ;) The ambiance was a good vibe and I met some cool people inside! The staff was extremely friendly as well.

this. bar sucks! no hype or no people in the club. people outside are crying for your woes. We were the only one (with a 10$ cover fee) and they couldn't cover a request on the music. That was a very sad night for anyone who would go In that club. that's not a club, that's a loners club.

I want to explain you my experience in this club. I went to Underground SF two Fridays ago. The night and the atmosphere was good, and the party too. However, when I got home I realized I had lost my sunglasses in there. I contacted them few days after (without no hope of finding them) asking if they have found my sunglasses (please find attached pictures). They told me they found the sunglasses and even they sent me a picture of the sunglasses. I did confirm they were mine. I said to them that I was going to grab them on Thursday or Friday (Thursday was the first day they were opening). I went on Friday to pick the sunglasses up. Unfortunately, the people working there were not able to find the sunglasses. They told me to wait, because they were contacting other employee who "could have taken the sunglasses to a safer place". After some minutes, they told me to go another day to grab the sunglasses because mysteriously the sunglasses weren't there. (I went there on purpose for that and they knew it.) This is when I said, ok "can you take my phone number and let me know when I can come back? because you are making me to waste my time and money". Seems that they didn't take this very good... they gave me a piece of paper to write down my phone number and meanwhile the front door guy was telling me "write your number and get out of here, get out of here" and one of the waitress was telling me...you were the one losing the sunglasses (remember, that they found the sunglasses and were there). I didn't hear back from them. I contacted them once again, as you can see in the pics. No answer. So, I can only say, they are very very rude and unrespectful. And still...one remaining question, where are the sunglasses? I'd really appreciate if someone gives me an explanation.

It's fun but forget ever reaching them if you lost your wallet. They have no active phone and there Instagram rarely get a reply.

Bartender highly recommended the vegetarian chicken sandwich. It is the most disgusting sandwich I have ever had. Over-fried, rock hard vegan chicken nuggets with a slop of coleslaw dripping in mayonnaise and garlic aioli. I finally made a comeback over this last weekend when I went with a group of friends after dinner nearby at China Live. I saw a whole new side to the bar. Previously, I didn't realize that they have a basement section, which in my opinion is worth checking out and way better than staying on the first floor. My group headed downstairs as soon as we entered and lined up to buy drinks. I ordered one of their infamous mai tai's, the same drink that pushed me over the edge a couple years ago. It was just as sweet as I remembered, but since I'd just eaten, I didn't feel jittery or like it was too much at all. There's just something about being served a cold cocktail in a paper cup. I have no complaints. It was filled to the brim with the frothy drink. I hope using disposable cups makes the staff's cleanup faster and easier. I'm really glad i visited this familiar yet transformed haunt with a different group of friends in a new year. It was so good to be back.
