My pre teen daughter had a hair emergency the day before Thanksgiving. I was desperate to find…read moresomeone who could fix her hair in time for the holiday. I called this salon Tuesday night and did not think anyone would be able to take a cut and at a time that worked for me. I was pleasantly surprised and relieved that Kayla had an opening. I'd seen the salon and passed by it daily. I was happy to give a local business a try. Kayla did a fantastic job fixing my daughter's hair. She listened and did not make my daughter feel bad for the way she came in. She was able to do her best at blending in the chopped up pieces of her hair. Kayla used a razor to cut her hair and the outcome was fabulous. A hair emergency was saved thanks to Kayla. We have precooked her next appointment and my daughter walked out happy. The salon its self is so cute and modern. I was not only a beverage, they have a nice selection of drinks, not just water. I was also offered snacks. They have a basket of yummy snacks. I also enjoyed the music playing. We will definitely be back to Kayla.

The ladies there were fantastic. More than just understand her they tried hard to please her and that made all the difference. And then the one thing that I liked. The price. Very inexpensive. It's a drive from Palos Heights but for my mom worth it.

I just moved to Coal City. Since the quarantine started this March, I stopped straightening my hair…read moreand started embracing my natural waves/curls--I run between a 2b to a 3a in texture. I hadn't had my hair cut since 10/2019 and was way overdue. I messaged the salon on FB looking to schedule an apt, and she was able to get me in right away, for which I was grateful. The salon maintained social distancing requirements, and the stylist wore a mask the entire time. My stylist appeared very knowledgeable about curly hair and was able to give me some good feedback about products and styling. The stylist (unfortunately I don't remember her name) told me that due to the amount of damage to my hair, she was going to have to take off 3-4 inches in length. My hair doesn't grow very quickly so I was very reluctant but eventually agreed to it for the sake of hair health. It was sort of traumatic and after I saw all the hair on the floor, I almost cried! But my hair is so much healthier and I am getting really good curls now, so it was worth it! Will definitely return!

Had to wait approx. 20 minutes, which we'll overlook this time, that was only downfall. Fair price haircut. Will definitely plan on returning & will be telling others about this hidden gem too!
