What a shame. I…read morescheduled that appointment for box braids in a bob style last friday. I still have no braids to show for it. After such a great intial experience here, I was very disappointed that my braider completely forgot my appointment and was braiding someone else's hair when I arrived to the salon. She also informed me that my hairstyle would be more ($20 more, not too bad) than what she quoted me over the phone because of the length and thickness of my hair, which is fine...it happens. However, what took the cake was that she had other plans during the day and didnt know if she would be able to do my hair at all that day. In the end, I didnt hear from her until 10pm that night asking to schedule an appointment for the following morning, which was impossible with my schedule. I gave two stars in rememberance of the first braids I got done here. Lesson of the story: DEFINITELY CALL THE DAY BEFORE TO CONFIRM YOUR APPOINTMENT. The braiding here is great though...when you reach that point.

For cut and blower 20. I paid for a mediocre haircut with a racist hairdresser that was borderline rude to my 82 year old mother 70. This place will have our business from now on. She also had her brother (I think it was) help braid my hair. They were very fast, but also paid attention to detail and took their time. It took about 5 hours. Mary is very gentle but her brother is a bit more rough. Their accents were very thick but you can understand them, most of the time. The hair was also included and I paid her 170.00 plus 10.00 for a tip. My hair looks very nice and neat. I will be going here again.
