I told my daughter to not worry about it. The lady never spoke to us. Another couple came in and the cat ran out the door and they exclaimed something like oh no.... The lady ignored them. They were very worried so I told them that cats appeared to go in and out???? The lady didn't speak to them either. I guess she is annoyed about cat questions? Maybe don't have them if people asking about them is annoying. We came fully prepared to buy books and support what seemed like it was going to be a great bookstore, however, we left and spent our money around the corner and down the street at the other bookstore.

The amount of books in this store was unbelievable, and the variety was great. They have some bookmarks and trinkets for sale as well. At the back of the store was two little boys reading books. That was a nice sight for a sore eye. Seems like this is a very busy and popular gem in the middle of downtown Acworth. They host events like game nights, so check their website. This store is really worth the visit. I had the pleasure of talking to Stasey, the owner, she was super nice while answering my questions about what books I could sell or trade. This store is worth a visit. Maybe on my next visit, I will be introduced to the cat.

Nice bookstore. I…read morebelieve all (or at least most) of the books are used. The books that I have bought have been in wonderful condition. You can negotiate the price but so far when they've thrown a price at me I was happy to pay what they asked. They sell comic books, games, puzzles, DVDs and more. The shop is off Allatoona Gateway (used to be Glade Road) - behind Taco Bell, Pizza Hut & KFC. Plenty of parking - the shopping center is not usually busy. The owners are friendly, fun and helpful.

Books-A-Million #331 is in Arbor Place Mall. We visited a few weeks ago and were able to get some…read morecool books for a bargain ($4- $6). The under $15 cart caught my eye. I did not really see the variety of books in the store because I focused on the cart outside of the door, which mostly had children's books. I liked how they had Paw Patrol and Pj Masks books for my toddler (because they are both slightly relevant and playing on TV). The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about the BAM! reward program. Although, I opted out of signing up that day, it is something to consider, if I keep purchasing books regularly. I recommend BAM! if you happen to be into reading :)

BAM! (BOOKS-A-MILLION)…read more I was totally surprised by this bookstore today because I never expected to see the return of bookstores in the mall. I love this! It is a great opportunity to purchase a useful gift, to give your kids a shopping break and to indulge your own interests. Although small, it still has many books and various items of interest available. My eyes locked on the calendar section because I love the daily calendars, (trivia, history, words, jokes etc). They are just very interesting or very entertaining. New additions include, people of Walmart and signs that you would see outside of churches. I opted to purchase the "Don't sweat the small things" calendar which will hopefully keep me focused on what's important and help me to better manage times of stress. It is a welcome addition to my tool box of ideas to help me live a more positive and calm existence in 2016. I also purchased one for my daughter who as a college student will definitely appreciate having a tool to help her deal with everyday stresses and concerns. Encouraging words are always appreciated especially for those of us who may get "stuck" and ruminate instead of moving forward.

Overall the layout makes sense and it's easier for me to bring the kids here than pay full price at B&N down the street and the experience is pretty comparable. I also like that you can call them and ask that they hold a book for you- great for Moms running low on time who need to get a book for their kids school project or required reading (speaking from experience here). The only con I will mention is what others have mentioned as well. Don't come here with books to sell assuming you'll get a lot of money for them. Come here with the books you were going to donate anyways. I do wish they had a better trade in program.

I've been going to Quest ever since Yu-Gi-Oh! first came out way back in the day; I got the OG Yugi…read moredeck from them. So when I started playing Magic, I began playing at Quest. Long story short, I've been a long-time, on-again-off-again customer. I've always been treated fine; Kenton (The Magic vendor) is an awesome person, and I honestly couldn't say enough nice things about the guy. I just wanted to make it clear I'm not complaining about him. Today, I went to play for Friday Night Magic. The owner, Greg, had a dispute with two other Magic players for using a table he has dedicated to the One Piece card players (who at the time hadn't shown up) for whatever reason. Greg felt like he needed to make it known openly for everyone in the room to hear (very rudely) that he didn't make money off of us (Magic The Gathering Players) and that he wanted to shut down the gaming room and remodel it for other purposes. So, let it be known to all customers of the shop that he doesn't appreciate your business unless you're spending a substantial amount of money. Also I will admit that I did let him know he could "Go f*** himself" as I exited the store. I'm sure Greg will put his own spin on this story but so be it..
