I wish I could put zero stars, but here we are. Here's the deal, I noticed they had a "Now Hiring"…read moresign, and inquired to see if I could get an application to apply. Who I can only assume was the manager, proceeded to basically discourage me from applying and warned me that they have had many applicants, so my application had to really "stand out enough" to even be considered or noticed. To the Troll that discriminated against me for being a female and assuming I had little knowledge of the business, let me say this..... First off my father is a collector and dealer of comic, movie, toy and sports memorabilia. So I have an extensive knowledge of the business which I could have used to sell more merchandise. Second, your clientele are a specific type of buyer. Being a young geeky woman myself, I believe I would have more than contributed to the sales team with not only my personality and knowledge of collectibles, but also just my love of collecting. Sadly it was your display of short sighted misogyny That caused you to assume things about me. I realize you're a knuckle dragger but being the manager I expected more. Learn how to talk to people first. I may have been a possible applicant, but you also lost a buyer. Also before you get picky and choosy with who you hire, start buying better merchandise.

This was another impromptu find at the last minute. This toy store has a lot of throwback toys,…read morevideo game systems, games to play with it, comics, and plenty of action figures. If you are looking for something in particular, you may want to call or even check it out to see if they have what you're looking for. My kids and husband (big boy at heart) could spend hours in here. I could too if I didn't have to spend money there...lol! We got a few things for our kids and our baby niece for her upcoming birthday. Some of the things they have are Barbie, Nintendo, old Mickey figurines, My Little Pony, and vinyl records. It made me realize again how quickly time flies when I was there since it took me back to my childhood days. Most of the toys and items for sale here aren't even made anymore. They even do appraisals as well. Thanks for the blast from the past!

We were recommended to Shenanigans from a local mom group. It's a huge local toy store with tons of…read moregreat and unique options: Crazy Aaron's Putty, TY, Mary Meyer, a baby sections, craft and activity books and more. The front of the toy shop has a pottery painting area with tons of options to choose from. Mugs, ceramic figures, piggy banks and so much more! Aprons are included and they have paint stations so kids can paint a product of their choice then have the item fired (I think- we haven't done this yet!). The best part is the play area in the back of the store which sells giant outdoor play systems. It's all padded and there's something for all ages. It's $5 a kid to get in-BUT if you spend $10 in the store two kids get in free! It's a no brainer. We go there frequently now and buy a $10-15 item and both kids get in free. There are several large play sets and one huge trampoline. There are no shoes/socks requirements except for the trampoline-no shoes are to be worn on there. The front of the play area has smaller toys and kitchen sets for toddlers and my 1.5 year old has fun just exploring and swinging on the swings too while my 6 year old runs wild. I'd definitely recommend this place. We love shopping small and it's just a huge added bonus that there's a play area. TIP: call ahead to make sure the play area is open as it closes frequently for parties. Also you can bring food and drink but it must be consumed in the partially enclosed party area of tables and chairs located within the play zone.
