He was dressed in chore clothes (and a mask) which should not matter but it did. When he entered the store he was not so much approached as he was called to across the store. My husband said what we were looking for. She called out that the cheapest headboard was over $700. My husband just said $700? Her response was "You can always go to Walmart." A smart sales person would have at least made some effort for him to stay....maybe say "Let me look in our catalogues, or here is my card, have you shopped here before?" I found the bed I wanted and then I started looking at adjustable bases. I was told the bases came with a 10 year warranty and $100 off bases costing $1000 or more. The only base available was the middle one for $1000. It wasn't the one I wanted but I said okay. Here's the kick in the pants. No discount on the frame because the actual cost was $999.99, one penny short. (imagine that) The 10 year warranty is not included, it actually costs $99.95. The manager said that's automatically added on to which I replied, you said they came with a 10 year warranty, not that one was available for purchase. He didn't seem to grasp the difference. After a few minutes I decided it's not my job to educate this person on being accurate with the information you give a customer regarding price. I said have a nice day and walked out. I can afford to throw my money around, but I won't have a salesman do it for me and act like it's no big deal. There are plenty of other places to spend my money and when it's thousands of dollars, I expect at least a basic level of competence.

I ordered online through corporate, so Cheyenne only handles the Home Delivery, so it makes it tough communicating between the two and tough for the local store with logistics. I bet if I went in the store personally and ordered...it would have been a completely different story. Dan contacted me personally after finding out and had his office manager Brittany step in when I couldn't get help from corporate. He implemented corrective action steps and communicated every step of the way to ensure I was taken care of and compensated and corrected the issues. Daniel's empathy and actions were a breath of fresh air for a business owner who didn't have to "dive into the weeds" for a consumer. It shows he truly cares about his customers and is dedicated to getting it right for us while ensuring his teams (both sales, delivery and customer service) do the same. Even though we had a few challenges, I understand that happens, we are all human....either way, Daniel handled it as a teaching lesson for his teams and his communicating with me personally to rectify the problems I had was commendable. Daniel helped to ease several issues we had and followed through with EXACTLY what he said he would do. That is rare, and in this day and age, that is extremely hard to come by. So fridge had to be delivered a week later Jeramiah had no explanation or help saying Jordan was new and we forgot to tell her about that. Then when fridge was delivered they forgot the filter and when I called Daniel said its nit a practice of ours to provide the filter. I call bs as the delivery driver explained they are supposed too. When I explained that to Daniel he hung up on me. I called back to confirm he hung up on a paying customer and said he would leave the filter up front for me to pick up! The kid who sold it to us was nice but he said it was more medium and this thing is plush! And I admit I did try it, but when you're laying on dozens of mattress in one day, it becomes difficult to accurately gauge everything. Here's the real problem.... they try to sell you a mattress protector that costs hundreds of dollars. I don't remember the kid saying this (he probably didn't), but if you don't spend that extra money, you can't return it. So even though we bought our own reputable mattress protector for a fraction of the price online, they simply won't accept it. It's a really lousy way to do business. My back is destroyed. I'm gonna try to make it a year and then put this bed in the guest room. Shame on this place, just go somewhere else without these dumb caveats. There's a million mattress stores in Fort Collins

They helped us choose a height for the base, made sure to set out moving blankets so they did not scratch the wood floor, and made sure we were happy with the placement. They also brought a new houseplant, bottle of champagn, and card from their staff congratulating us in our new home. Seriously love our new bed and so thankful we stumbled into this store!
