We were setup with a very large space that had pool tables and table tennis and were given the ability to bring our own decorations to add a theme to the event. We were allowed to setup in advance and were given assistance in both the setup and takedown. The food was great, we were given a buffet style selection which consisted of items such as sandwiches, pizza, meatballs, chicken wings, samosas, and mozzarella sticks. The food all tasted great and there was more than enough for everyone to eat. They have a decent selection of drinks, the only negative that I would say is that I would like to see a greater selection of local microbrew beers but that's ok. The service was what made the event that much more enjoyable. You never needed to chase down a server to get drinks and they always made sure that the glasses and dishes were picked up promptly so the place didn't look messy. I don't think there was a single time that I waited more than 2-3 minutes for a drink. If you are looking to just go and play pool or have an event here, I would definitely recommend dropping in.

Bonkers is a sports bar, emphasis on the bar part. They do serve food, although I haven't eaten anything there since the name change so I don't know what the food is like anymore. This place is a locals bar, but be warned it's locals in the "sketchy folk drinkin" sense than in the family sense. The beer isn't all that cheap and the selection is "meh" while the atmosphere isn't all that great (feels like a small town bar, complete with neon signs advertising Budweiser). The only redeeming quality is that they have Karaoke on friday nights, which is usually good entertainment. The Karaoke tends to attract the student crowd so is usually a lot of fun. Oh and young men beware, there tends to be cougars present.

The atmosphere is very hip, low-lit, and very thoughtfully decorated. I actually kept noting to my friends how much I loved the interior design of the place. I can see from my fellow Yelpers that this place used to be a little more hokey? Ha! Anyway, we were here on a Friday on what appeared to be a short-staffed night because our waitress seemed irritable. We let her know we were expecting more people but she didn't try that too hard to accommodate us (To be fair, my tardy friends had not made a reservation). Eventually we were able to spread across three booths so it worked out fine, but we were unable to move tables because of the pending karaoke setup. Musical chairs aside, the food was terrible to start with. My bf and I ordered the bruschetta and it was awful, amateur. Salty! Our entrees saved the night: he had pizza and I had wings, and we both enjoyed them. My friends complained about the calamari, noting they were rubbery. Couldn't take any pictures because of the dim lighting of the place. Anyway, based on the ambience of the place, I would return for a drink, but keep it intimate.

I have 10+ free hours saved on my lifetime membership that has just been wiped and they really believe they can get away with such dishonest practices. You pay for your room based on your time- essentially you rent it, so for an hour and a half the "small" room was $48. Outside food and drink is not allowed, but they have drinks for sale (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) or you can get a complimentary glass of water. While some of their song selections are outdated, they do have a fairly extensive selection including everything from pop songs to songs from the Philippines. Be warned: the odds are that people from other rooms can hear you (if their music isn't playing at the same time) so when you're in the middle of choosing songs, you can hear others in adjacent rooms... but it's okay! Kinda makes it a bit more fun. The rooms each have a tv for you to read off your lyrics, and they are lit by disco type lights, and fairly dark. There's a table in the middle and fairly comfy seating, kind of like a booth at a restaurant. We had a great time and would totally come back again!

The owner cancelled New Years Eve before midnight! We will not be back…read more My spouse and I have been twice-a-month regulars for months, and have come to know the staff and other patrons. That said, on NYE, advertised to go on from 7pm to 1am to ring in the new year, things went awry, then chaotic, due specifically to the actions of the owner of the restaurant. The owner turned the volume up Very Loud during the 10:45 break, and cancelled the musicians (who had a long-standing gig with them) at 11:15. We were told live entertainment until 1 am. It was almost as if the owner wanted to drive us away. Over two-thirds of the customers there at that point had NYE event tickets, and needless to say, none of us stayed after that. My spouse regretted not having her earplugs. The one person who dared ask for a partial refund (no entertainment past 10:45, advertised champagne at midnight) got kicked out with a near-physical altercation with the owner and banned by email the next day from the restaurant. A server who tried to settle things down was pushed aside by the owner and threatened with being fired. The musicians were disrespected in that while I am told they were to be paid for the entire gig, they were left cooling their heels between 11 when they wanted to start the next set and 11:15 when they were told to pack up--it was over. Nothing was said to our server who was shocked when many of us asked for our bills, and I feel that the wait staff, who tried their best, were also disrespected. I cannot recommend this restaurant again.
