Been to many clubs before and NEVER paid that much. No coat check, so dancing in my jacket and other girls in winter coats and 4 kinds of alcohol available at the bar (no gin and tonic even). Not possible to open a tab on a credit card. Cash only. We were 2 people, our drinks were $14/ rounds and they say $25 minimum and need to pay right away (what kind of f...cked up logic is that???) Multi level???? Right...we went 1 floor up and were turned around with 'the party is downstairs'...no rooftoop, no 2nd floor. DJ switching tunes every 20 seconds making it IMPOSSIBLE to dance. The crowd was STANDING at the dancefloor talking and taking selfies. Ridiculous. How can they call themselves a night club??? wasted Saturday night, first and last time...

Bonkers is a sports bar, emphasis on the bar part. They do serve food, although I haven't eaten anything there since the name change so I don't know what the food is like anymore. This place is a locals bar, but be warned it's locals in the "sketchy folk drinkin" sense than in the family sense. The beer isn't all that cheap and the selection is "meh" while the atmosphere isn't all that great (feels like a small town bar, complete with neon signs advertising Budweiser). The only redeeming quality is that they have Karaoke on friday nights, which is usually good entertainment. The Karaoke tends to attract the student crowd so is usually a lot of fun. Oh and young men beware, there tends to be cougars present.

The atmosphere is very hip, low-lit, and very thoughtfully decorated. I actually kept noting to my friends how much I loved the interior design of the place. I can see from my fellow Yelpers that this place used to be a little more hokey? Ha! Anyway, we were here on a Friday on what appeared to be a short-staffed night because our waitress seemed irritable. We let her know we were expecting more people but she didn't try that too hard to accommodate us (To be fair, my tardy friends had not made a reservation). Eventually we were able to spread across three booths so it worked out fine, but we were unable to move tables because of the pending karaoke setup. Musical chairs aside, the food was terrible to start with. My bf and I ordered the bruschetta and it was awful, amateur. Salty! Our entrees saved the night: he had pizza and I had wings, and we both enjoyed them. My friends complained about the calamari, noting they were rubbery. Couldn't take any pictures because of the dim lighting of the place. Anyway, based on the ambience of the place, I would return for a drink, but keep it intimate.

We ate inside although they have a wonderful looking patio out front. Service was fast and friendly. Along with a lager and lime, I had their specialty of the day, fish and chips. "Let's go to My Condo"- Haha, really clever!…read more Like the previous reviewer said, this place is definitely a great one for the ladies. It's a little smaller and more lounge-y than other clubs that seem to play this type of music. Still, I like. It's the kind of place where I know the words to every single song. Odd combo BUT at different points in the night I had a vodka sour and a caesar. Both were decent, a bit on the icy side. My friend and I found ourselves making up new dance movies to deal with the heat in the caesar. Rythemic fanning anyone? They had a really interesting little drink menu and for the type of place it was, the prices weren't too crazy. The crowd was quite young and whichever area they chose to occupy, having a good time. There are a bunch of booths and banquettes as well as a little dance floor. Also noted, there is a glass shower in between the women's and men's washroom. Excuse me, which crazy people are taking showers in the middle of a club? I don't really want to know. Any way you cut it, fun times! Go to My Condo. Not actually though.

The decor inside is meant to look like you are at a house party at your friend's condo, sort of cheesy but sort of funny too. But, the music was good, the crowd was young, and the drinks were flowing... New: couches to dance on. Gone: the dirty hot tub from the Rum Shack days and the "too cool" factor of Suite 34.

It's great to have works by such different artists all in one place. Most of the activities in Arts Court are free, fundraising or at very low cost and the programming benefits a wide audience. The down side is that the listings aren't grouped anywhere together, outside of the Artlist (Artengine's e-blasts). In addition, the old Courthouse's layout is a real maze to navigate and unfortunately, some people get lost, give up and get out before they've discovered something exciting or found what they've come to see in the first place.

During the week after work, many contractors come to enjoy a beer or two in a friendly atmosphere and enjoy great service. Plenty of TV's to catch up on sports. The owners are making it all happen by hiring an Executive Chef with great menus. A nice dining area with ambiance provides the right atmosphere for those who want to dine with something different than the usual fare promoted by franchises. I hadn't gone to the Mix in awhile but I was favorably impressed by our meal. Service was excellent and the price was more than affordable.
