Mike Woods came and measured our front door to replace it with a sturdy steel door. He measured the door incorrectly, ordered the wrong door(actually never ordered in advance) , he was always late to the job, he came at 6 o'clock at night and cut the hole for our door only to realize that he ordered the wrong size door and that it wouldn't fit below our roofline. So he quickly ran to Home Depot before they closed and just grabbed whatever door that would fit in the hole that he cut. It was not the door agreed-upon in the contract. He left at 10 o'clock at night as my husband was going to work! There were gaps all around the door, it was out of level, and the trim had yet to be replaced. He assured us he would be there tomorrow morning. He did not show up in the morning and then he called and said he would be there at 5 PM. At 6:30 my husband called him and told him just to forget about it because when my husband called and Mike answered Mike began cussing my husband out and told him that "he was starting to get pissed off at us". He expected us to be grateful because he was only charging us $389 to put a door in. Bottom line is his wife does not know how to write a contract, and he does not know how to measure or do an estimate properly. Once he fails the estimate, he fails the job miserably! After they screw up the job and you either fire them or you complain that they didn't do it correctly and you want it fixed they become violent verbally. Mike and Layla Woods have slandered us verbally all over the Internet, have harassed us via text and are still sending us invoices in amounts varying of over $100 for over a year now. I have spoken to their landlord who just recently kicked them out and she has taken them to court because they destroyed her home. If you're looking for trouble, this is the contractor for you! If you want the job done right, keep looking! Oh and if anybody is looking for them to sue them, I heard they moved to Georgetown.

Two years after we bought our house the shingles from our roof started blowing off. We have fixed the roof so many times that the roofer said that the shingles are such poor quality that it does not pay for him to continue repaiting the roof. A new roof will cost $15,000. The floors squeak like we are living in a 50 year old house. We constantly told LC Homes about the squeaking floors, they refused to fix them. Our driveway is caving in and will probably need to be replaced soon. Do not buy an LC Home. So many problems. So many unexpected expenses for a new home.
