It would have been better, but I have to factor in the flight and a half of steep concrete steps with no handicapped accessibility. I'm super disappointed because I really did have a good time here and it's a super cute place. I went in with a family member and we painted mugs. We were there for a while because I was doing a 2 color polka dot pattern on my mug that took a little bit of time. The environment was nice and though it was a little crowded we still managed to find a place to sit with lots of options. My disappointment actually stems from the final product I picked up. I picked two specific colors for my pattern, blue and green, and made the cup black. I asked the woman working multiple times about the colors and with the dots if I needed to go over them multiple times to make sure the color came out right. I was told no and that the pattern and colors looked great and would turn out great. To my surprise when I picked up my cup there was not a single drop of blue anywhere to be seen. Not even a little bit. I am so sad and disappointed because I had not only specifically asked about the colors but if I would have known the blue would not have shown I would have went with a different color. The cup to me looks like it's missing something, because it is, but other people seem to like it. But I'm just super disappointed and wish that when I had asked I would have been told that's not a color you can do with black. Because I obviously had no idea and spent a good amount of time trying to make it perfect. I wanted to include pictures to show what it looked like when I left it and when I picked it up. If I can recommend anything it's for the employees to help with transparency when helping people start their project and expectations on that. I paid for 2 mugs that day so almost $50 and I just got disheartened when I picked mine up. I would still recommend this place as it's super cute and is still a fun day activity. Always a fun time! I love coming here with friends or my husband for a paint night. I've also done a clay project! Love this place!

My wife went in on the 17th of last month with my daughter to have something made up for father's day. They say 2-3 week turn around. I understand father's day might be a little busy but she was told last weekend it would be done. Then it was this Thursday. Today makes 4 weeks. They will now not answer my wife's calls, the manahlger Sam said she would be calling my wife when I was there Thursday. No call, the worker said it would be another couple days from Thursday. Now my 4 year old daughter can't give her father the present she ordered for father's day. Unbelievable how poorly ran it is. I sat in there for an hour before they would go look and see if the pieces were done. Then the girl said to me " I know its hard for you to comprehend that father's day is busy". All we asked was to be kept in the loop and not tied to. The same girl also couldn't do simple math and thought today June 14th was only 3 weeks from May 17th. Literally had to pull my calendar out on my phone. Absolutely horribly ran. We also live an hour away so telling my wife it would be ready for pickup on Thursday was great. What a shit show, definitely dont recommend. read more

My first experience here was a Paint Your Pet line drawing class where we were asked to pre-submit photos of our pets so their artists could create a custom line drawing for us to trace with watercolors and fine-tip pens. From there, we were given basic instructions about watercolors and how to use pressure to adjust the thickness of your stroke. I asked the teacher a few questions about technique or advice on where it might be better to place thicker strokes and the advice was basically, "Do what feels right." I'm already an artistic person so I was a bit unsatisfied with that response, tbh. I wouldn't call this particular experience a "class" as much as it was an independent workshop with a proctor, since there wasn't exactly much instruction. But based on feedback from friends, it seems to differ a bit from class to class. It was still a fun and relaxing activity with friends that I would do again! Perhaps one of the best aspects of this place for non-artists is that they've already done the hardest parts for you, whether it's sketching line art or providing pre-made pottery for you to paint. This means you can still make something cool even if you don't have much artistic talent! This applies to adults and kids (yes, they offer kids classes, too) alike. One of the unique aspects of this place is its connection with 205 Dry downstairs. You can bring a drink up for the bar or order food that will be delivered to you in the studio. The instructor was super nice! and i love the way my painting turned out! 10/10 recommend!!

Last night my daughter and I took a class here. For $35.00 each we created a very nice painting. The instructor, Brittany, was beyond wonderful. She took the time to explain brush-strokes, color mixing, and also explained why to do the paintings in which order. So, basically she helped us with doing our paintings, but she also explained why we did things in a certain way. I gave this a 5 star rating, but the example paintings kept falling and startling the students. They need to figure out a way to have them up high, and not get bumped off as she demonstrates her brushstrokes and paints along with the class. This is just a wonderful place to visit. You leave with a piece of art that you've created, and an amazing sense of accomplishment. I don't consider myself an artist in any sense of the word, but I came home with something that I'm proud of. This is an ideal destination for a girls night out, or a date night event. Binghamton needs more of businesses like this one, and it's a welcome addition to the area. I will definitely return in the future and I will definitely spread the word amongst my friends about the great time we had. read more
