As we got close to the SC state line, we called to see if it was open and Melissa offered to keep the shop open a little longer for us! We enjoyed talking with her, and found a few gifts for family. I have visited a couple of times and witnessed Melissa working with her customers and neighbors - "Her people" as I refer to them. She shows genuine interest in knowing each and every person who walks through the door or visits online. I have received notes from her when she has found items she knows I will find interesting and I have seen her do this for others, too. She has so much passion for her work. She finds the most unique pieces that reflect her style, but truly they are a reflection of her customers, too. She's just waiting to introduce you to your pearl. Worth the trip to historic Bennettsville just to sit and chat with Melissa for a few minutes after shopping in The Oyster. Her passion and positive attitude are infectious and you are sure to leave with a smile on your face along with new-to-you treasures in hand.

This is a wonderful store with an eclectic mix of unique pieces of furniture, home furnishing, artwork, jewelry and other accessories. We had such a wonderful experience at Lowe's thanks to an employee named Timothy. His kindness and…read morecustomer service stood out so much that we felt he deserved to be recognized. We had gone down several aisles looking for something and were obviously having trouble finding what we needed. Timothy noticed us and, without us even having to track someone down, came over and asked if he could help. After we explained what we were looking for, he immediately knew what might work for us. What impressed us even more was that Timothy didn't simply tell us which aisle to go to and send us on our way. He personally walked us to the aisle, showed us exactly what he thought we needed, and he was spot on! Timothy was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely available to help. Even as we were leaving, he asked if there was anything else he could help us with. That small gesture said so much about the kind of person he is. Great customer service can make such a difference, and Timothy is a perfect example of that. We walked into Lowe's a little lost and walked out feeling very fortunate that Timothy noticed us and took the time to help. Lowe's is very lucky to have an employee like him. Thank you, Timothy, for going above and beyond for us! Thanks, Rachelle
