Great food!! Great location in my town! Very nice menu! Perfect serving size Friendly staff Will definitely order again read more

It was okay. The dishes were plated nicely but everything wasn't as it should be. The fried rice didn't have any egg or vegetables in it. The crab rangoon was overcooked and puffed out too much. It should have had more filling and I think it tasted like they should change their frying oil. The Moo Goo Gai Pan should have had more mushrooms in it and the chicken tasted kind of fishy. My boyfriend's mom liked her steamed dumplings and her garlic chicken too so at least she liked her stuff a lot. Since our bill was over $50 they gave us a free order of Chinese donuts and she gave us a packet of almond cookies to go as well. I will go again sometime and try something else. I hope they change their frying oil soon. read more

General Tso chicken sauce tasted more like watered down bbq sauce. Missing the fried rice that came with the takeout order. Barely any soy sauce with steamed dumplings. Used to drive extra to get takeout from here. We will not be returning. read more

Uncle Wong serves the best Chinese food in the area. The staff is friendly, courteous and creative.

Some of the best Chinese takeout in the area. Everything is made fresh and you can tell !! The crab Rangoon are excellent. Lots of filling and super crispy. Steamed dumplings are a must and the egg drop soup is delicious !!! Food is packed up so well that nothing is damaged or leaks on the trip home. Nothing was soggy either. read more

Food is great and service is too.The owner are really good people. .Not a big dìnning room so we order pick-up

This little Chinese restaurant is hidden away in a small strip mall in Marseilles IL. I would've never even noticed it but a friend recommended it so our dinner group went to try it out. We're so glad we did! Again, the restaurant isn't a fancy place, and it's pretty small, but the food is amazing. Large portions, great tasting, and the service was fantastic. Don't let the little "Mom & Pop" atmosphere fool you. This one is a hidden gem! read more

Very impressed I was able to call in an order and they customized my food exactly the way I like it and they were more than happy to do so. I am a pretty picky eater. The food was amazing and so was the lady that I spoke with read more

This place has been a staple in Marseilles for a few decades now. They take pride in their business and are the nicest people. I've never had a bad meal from Uncle Wongs and their ingredients are always crisp and fresh! I like that their sesame chicken always has the sauce come on the side, so the breading on the chicken is still crunchy when you get it home. read more

So amazing! And the owner is so kind and wonderful. It's fresh and delicious and authentic. You will be satisfied!

Decided we wanted a king day of doing nothing while staying at the nearby Holiday Inn resort and so we ordered take out here - wow. So so good. The food is great the portions are huge - seriously huge. The lady that answered I believe owns the place and was the one who we met at the Resturant - it's a small but very nice place. When I got the food home and opened it we were blown away by how much it was. I'd definitely recommend this place. read more

Place is awesome! They are really attentive. The food was very flavorful, hot, and plentiful. It all came in a timely fashion. I had the Kung pao chicken, and he had sweet n sour chicken for two. So worth it! You get 4 huge crab ragoons and 2 egg rolls as well. I even like their tea which rarely happens. The place is small but really clean. They treat you very well. I am coming again, and they seem to have a booming take out business as well. read more

EAT HERE! HOT & FRESH. Authentic, Cheap, and Fresh. The Best Chinese Food I have Ever had. Definitely the best around the area. I grew up eating New Chiam, and would go Downtown to China town once a year. Well This place is better than any of those by far. The owners are very nice. Great Service. They even hand carve roosters, and flowers out of the vegetables and make beautiful displays on your plate. read more

The food is great and the prices are fair. I've been going here for as long as I can remember and it's always been great

Amazing business and equally amazing family that owns and operates it. Always polite and on time with orders. Very hardworking and courteous. May I recommended the "house special" fried rice and lo mien noodles as well as their soups! read more

Take out, fresh food no MSG requests always honored and quick time frames ALWAYS. The owners are great people

Honestly, I've never had Chinese food better than Uncle Wongs. Its the Best. I've eaten at Chinese resturants all over the place, Chicago, etc.. And we've even tried out our past favorites after have eaten at Uncle Wongs.. And They taste horrible compared to Uncle Wongs.. The Food is Fresh, Authentic, and Made to Order. Sometimes they get a little busy but in general from the time you walk in your food is usually on your table in about 10 minutes or so. I've taken many business Clients here and they are surprised how good the food is, the only thing I hate is that there is only 1 location. But hey, I keep going and going.. I try to eat here atleast once a week. - Its reasonably priced and its REALLY REALLY REALLY!! Good food.. I can't stress how good the food is.. You will not be disappointed. Worth the Drive. read more

We stopped here on the way home from a track meet because it was on the way, and because it had decent yelp reviews. The food was hot and fresh and the chef carved super cool plate decorations. We will def stop in again if we're in the area. General Tso's chicken was very good with just the right amount of spice. read more

Best Chinese food in America! Best sweet and sour chicken I've ever had! The best you will find in America. It is family owned and operated and the family is very friendly. Amazing Place to Eat ! read more

First try at Chinese in the area and it sounds like the group will not be in the mood for another try for a while. General's chicken was tiny pieces of fried meat with the sauce on the side and too thin. Another said they had to pick around their fatty meat and eat just the vegetables. No one liked it enough to save any for leftovers and in fact four out of five were sick later. read more

Looks like a hole in the wall but a super hidden gem! I like the taste of Uncle Wong's food better than all the other chinese restaurants in LaSalle county. Sure, New Chiam has gr8 eggrolls but Uncle Wong's is super fresh! Tasty and really delicious!!! They have a diet steamer menu too. They got traditional favorites & veggie options. Best of both worlds. Foodies will love it since the meat doesn't have that rubbery feel most Chinese restaurants serve. Huge portions too--enough to take home for another meal later. This place does high volume take-outs w/ the locals. The inside restaurant is clean, bright, & service is super friendly. (Love the sign on the bathroom door..."ER") Priceless. read more

The prices are not to bad and the portions are very good size. I would recommend it. Very nice and fast service.

I am picky when it comes to Chinese food, and I thought this place was pretty good. I went for lunch and got the sesame chicken. It was very good - no complaints. The fried rice was also good and notably fresh. The egg roll was OK, but I am very hard to please with those so not saying too much there. All in all, I will definitely be going back for lunches. I do have to say I was a little weirded out by the complimentary plate of fried wonton strips they brought out, but they were good. read more
