I think that they had a bit of everything for everyone. I didn't care for the food court, but find one anywhere in the country that pleases me. California doesn't even have good food courts. The only person with which I had any contact was the security guard as I was entering, and she nodded and I nodded. That was it. I noticed an upstairs and was surprised to see a law office, a tax office and photographer (same office!), and more. Is it cheaper than a strip mall or standalone building? Malls usually are expensive for rental fees. I didn't go get my check-in free tumbler gift from the Mall Office. Durn.

The cilantro wasn't soapy, the shrimp and chicken were sliced as thin as the rice wrap and flavorful beyond compare. The lettuce crunched, the carrots snapped and the peanut butter sauce absolutely banged. Pro-tip: if the chef suggests you stir in a little of her homemade hot sauce, do it. Three words: Off. The. Chain. The first $5 order of two rolls hit the spot, but didn't satisfy my craving. And when I say "didn't satisfy" I mean I could've ate 20 of the dang things before settling into a food coma. I didn't just want more, I needed more. So, I ordered more assuming I'd have a snack when I got home an hour later. Didn't happen. The rolls didn't make it out of the parking lot. Before I even turned the ignition over I had the second order of Vietnamese heaven demolished and devoured, not even a tuft of cilantro left lingering on the styrofoam serving tray. Overall a great experience. Stopped for a little snack and had my life changed. Despite being in the food court of a mall, it's a dead mall, the mood was chill and relax. The pricing was fair and the staff were exemplary. The chef was great at making conversation (even if she didn't necessarily have a choice) and the cashier seemed to genuinely appreciate my compliments in regards to the food. They got all crispy and flavorful scrapings from the pan in there, and the addition of red Filipino chilis added a nice heat to it overall. The turon was a little more dense than I thought it would be, but that's a good thing. The halo halo was also a typical halo halo -- also a good thing in this part of town. The flavor, amount of food, and overall value here would cost someone way more than $35 in the Bay Area. This is a win. If I find myself in Arkansas again, I'll definitely seek out this place.
