I'm a fan of their falafel. but when I drive by they are always closed. Nara, where are you?read more

This place single-handedly changed my opinion on the state of Arkansas LOL!…read more There are places that you eat at and it's one and done; there are places to revisit time and time because you crave it; but Nara? Seeing the pictures alone made me crave something I've never had before, and going there was absolutely phenomenal. I got the loaded lamb roll with fries and my partner the coco mix. We shared hummus and pita. My roll was packed with lamb with white sauce and cheese saucing up the already well seasoned lamb--lettuce and tomato broke the richness of the meat. I dipped my fries in the amazing hummus, so creamy and smooth with some quality olive oil on top. My partner's rice had chicken and lamb meat that was insanely tender and flavorful, the rice complimenting it with its spices. The coco mix comes with a variety of proteins to try from if you want a little of everything! The falafel in it was so crunchy yet soft inside. The cashier was super helpful wirh his recommendations and made sure we were comfy. I appreciate the variety of drinks he offered as well, giving customers options and his personal input! While I do agree with some reviews that the wait can be long, the anticipation is so worth it. I'd never expect such a great restaurant in a small city on the outskirts of Arkansas, but I will be revisiting just for a taste of Nara.

We visited BluPoint tonight and enjoyed the friendliness of the team and the ambiance of the…read morerestaurant was wonderful. It is well lit, relaxed and upscale - all at the same time. The furnishings, decor and spaces are well designed to be modern, contemporary and (comfortably) trendy. The food was high quality. We enjoyed Oysters Rockefeller and Pull Apart Crab Rangoon as appetizers. For our main course, we shared a cut of 16 oz Bison paired alongside a Wedge Salad with thinly sliced green apple that complimented the superb homemade blue cheese dressing. We also had Brussels sprout and asparagus. Our kids shared a fish n chips with Mac n cheese as the "chips!" We drank water with our meal. The drink menu was plentiful for those who enjoy alcohol - it was quite expansive and seemed to have something for every taste from wines and beers and cocktails/specialty drinks. We don't drink alcohol, so we cannot speak with the voice of having tried any of the adult beverages. The dessert menu looked nice, though we didn't save room at this meal to enjoy - we will save that for another time. The pricing was a bit more than one would normally spend in the River Valley - though the ambiance, food quality, menu selections and wow factor were all certainly outstanding and in a class apart from most any other restaurant in this area. By comparison - I would say BluPoint would compare to Oak or Ruth's Chris (both in Rogers, Arkansas and both specializing in steaks). Other comparables in quality and enjoyment factor would be Doe's Eat Place in Fort Smith and the location in Fayetteville (also steak houses). Finally - just a little below those mentioned above (in my view), I would say 21 West End and Stone House at Chaffee Crossing, both in Fort Smith would be comparable to BluPoint. Of course, the menu selections will vary from the places I've mentioned as comparable - BluPoint had two solid options for high quality meat (filet and bison), as well as several seafood options - which makes sense given their specialty. We met the chef and he was friendly and pleasant. His creations (that we tried) were very enjoyable. We paid $270, including a 20% tip for the selections described above - so definitely don't forget the wallet or you'll be washing a lot of dishes!

My husbands steak was WELL DONE when we specifically asked for medium rare.... Don't quite know how you mix those 2 up. Didn't offer to fix it. However, the staff was amazing our waiter was really good and kind. It's a beautiful restaurant but if you want good quality food for the same price go to stone house
