The WORSE service I've ever experienced ! for ONE my aunt had reservations for 730 for a room that was still taken up til about 9 o'clock ... TWOOOO . their food came out all late ended up not being hot at all . They forgot all about my food .. My uncle had to tell them THREEEEE TIMES how he wanted his food and he just ended up telling the chef manager to make it to go . He didn't even eat ! The waitress that they had from the beginning ended up telling a WHOLE LIE saying someone threw beer in her face ! mind you she shouldn't had handled a big party if she was so newwww & had " anxiety " and went hiding so when had all these different waitresses waiting on us ! But before we had known all that my uncle got up to ask where was our waitress bc i mean we needed food and refills ! and ERIC !!!!!!! Ericcccccc !!!!!!!!!! had the nerve to say a very RUDE comment to my uncle .. & that's when we found out she went back and told them that someone from our table threw back at her . NO ONe DID SUCH A THINGGGG ! ERICCCCCC however u spell his name idc .. he ended up being a very , rude & cocky & said " WHY ARE YALLLLL HEREEEEEE " he's hispanic and we're black . how you think anyone would take to hearing something like that !!!! that was very racist !!!!! and he needed to be fired right on the spot ! he bucked up to my aunt like he was going to fight her w the chef manager right beside him . & he kept talking wreckless like he was all big and bad ! AND TO THE GIRL WHO BROUGHT MY FOOD OUT all rude and hateful i'll report you too !!! she had to pig tails on her head 9/21/19 she looked mixed w asian . I didn't appreciate that that was the worse attitude and for what though ???? you guys forgot about my food not me !!!!! so I guess the waitress we had that told them that lie made the others angry at us like we would really do something like that !!! it would've cause a lot of commotion if anyone threw beer at her and i'm sure anyone else would've told y'all if they seen that happend DUH but it didn't ! the service was HORRIBLE ! sorry and i'll never step foot back into that location ! we all felt very offended ! but thanks to the chef manager for doing his job at least . read more

This restaurant is the most underrated restaurant I've ever seen. It perfectly meshes the modernization of cooking with traditional Mexican cuisine. They make the guacamole right in front of you, and you can see them making the tortillas by hand. The food is amazing, the chicken is perfectly cooked. The tortillas have the perfect amount of heat, and the salsa is the best I've ever tasted. The service took only a couple of minutes to bring some of the best food I have ever tasted and doesn't taste cheap or poorly made. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who already is within a decent distance of Reston Town Center, and is arguably the best restaurant in the area. They really deserve more than they get. read more

We had a birthday party here with twelve family members and friends. That group included not less than five demanding personalities. Valentina handled them all with grace and Travis was amazing at making sure our loyalty points and appetizer buffet was there for everyone. The food was delicious. Tamales liken home made and the seared tuna fish tacos were a revelation! Of course the margaritas were good. It was just a lovely experience all around. Some of our group live close by and hadn't tried it, but will definitely be back. I have a staff retreat coming up and I think I know which restaurant I am calling to take care of it. Came here with my boyfriend for date night and we were not disappointed one bit! Seated immediately and Kyle was our server. For appetizer we ordered guacamole & queso. Oh the queso! Probably the best I've ever had. Ran out of chips & Kyle brought more quickly. For dinner we both offered the GUADALAJARA. It's basically chicken & steak fajitas and 3 large shrimp stuffed with Monterey Jack & jalapeños, and wrapped in bacon. Just wow! Dinner was perfect. We probably would have ordered dessert, the chocolate piñata looked very interesting, but we were really full. We will definitely return. Thank you Kyle for serving us. Food was Outstanding! Greyson, our waitor, was attentive, kind, and kept our glasses full. The wait for our main course was long, almost 40 minutes after we finished our appetizers, but our apps came out quickly. We were going to order a chocolate pinata, but it takes 20 minutes to create, so tell your server right away if you want one. The atmosphere is loud, but lends to the fun vibe. We visited in a Tuesday and with the long wait for our food, I don't think I'd venture back there on a weekend. We had reservations and were seated within 10 minutes after arrival. read more

This is my new favorite Mexican restaurant. They have all the classics on the menu and then so much more. My mom and I went there this afternoon for a late lunch. Our server came pretty quick with fresh chips and salsa. We ordered an appetizer to share and also entrees. Everything came out to us on time and the food was very good. I really want to mention though how much we liked our waitress Emily. We eat out a lot, we meet a lot of good servers but she was exceptional, not just with the service but with her great attitude and smile too. Thanks, we'll be back! read more

It was last minute decision as I never tired this location. I invited my friend to join me for lunch on last Thursday. We sat by the bar, it was really atmosphere and the host was very welcoming. I love there shrimp tacos but want to try something different this time. Well after server recommendations we both choose the salmon. It came got very nice with honey layer on top of it along with salad which had some spicy kick to it. I guess it was jalapeno. Went last Friday evening it was busy but we were seated quickly ...party of 4. We have gone for lunch and had a great experience this was the first time on a Friday night. Food was perfect/ never had to ask for water or soda to be refilled Chips and salsa were really good. We all ate either fajitas with chicken or chicken quesadilla. Good place to get fajitas. They are pricey, but worth it! Also, I always bring my friends in for the margarita of the day. It'll run you $11, but well worth it. I have to come to Gainesville to eat here, wish they would open one up closer to home! This restaurant is also very nice inside, clean and has a rustic look to it that is very unique to most restaurants in NOVA. I would definitely recommend checking it out. read more

Uncle Julios in Gainsville is always a nice dining experience. The staff is pleasant and work really hard at getting food orders out right and quickly. We sat outside and had little to no wait for seating at 6 PM on a Sarurday evening. That is amazing for anywhere around the Northern Virginia a re wa on a Saturday night. horrible service, the worst I have seen in years. They obviously don't have their stuff together. Waited over 30 minutes for drinks, food came out missing child's plate and some other requests. The manager did not care to discuss the issues nor offer solutions to retain a customer. Other places nearby have their act together. Fantastic as always. I got the steak fajitas, which were cooked perfectly. The tortillas were fresh and they don't mind you asking for more. Anytime I go for Mexican, I have to get guacamole and uncle julios nails that. The orders supplies more than enough to go around. Definitely give this place a try! This place is not even close to any authentic Mexican food, especially compared to what you find around Gainesville. The menu is very limited, and unfortunately, none of my family members enjoyed their meals. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, and we won't be returning. read more

I have not been disappointed on any of my visits. Good service, good food, and good drinks. Good size portions are served so you are not going to leave hungry. If you are with a group of at least four I recommend the Piñata chocolate dessert with fruit and churro. read more

Everything is made fresh every day which means a lot to me. I don't like reheated frozen food when I go out and pay good money. The margaritas are amazing with the fresh fruit. Guadalajara fajitas are my fave entree! And tableside guacamole is a must! read more

Been to several Uncle Julio's restaurants and I feel this location is the best. The have lunch specials and even when I was outside of the timeframe the still went above and beyond to accommodate my request. Those things make a difference. read more
