He was able to determine that the leak was coming from the unit itself (not the pipes), which saved valuable time and avoided unnecessary delays. Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. Michael sent a photo after the work was completed and also made it easy to handle payment remotely. Most importantly,I felt confident that they were taking great care of our tenants in our absence. I wanted a second opinion before spending that kind of money, so I called Nothing But Water Heaters and they got someone out pretty quickly. The technician, Manny, checked it out and realized the pilot light was just out. He spent a few minutes figuring out why, got it relit, and had everything working again in about 15 minutes. He also told us the water heater is from 2019 and doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon. What really got me was that he could have easily told us it needed replacing and we never would have known better. Instead he was straight with us, gave us a quote for whenever we do actually need a new one down the road, and wouldn't take payment for the visit even though I offered a few times. You don't run into that kind of honesty very often. I'll definitely be calling them when I do need a replacement, and I'm telling everyone I know to use them too.

Another company could not come for 2 days but suggested Nick and assured me he was an honorable man. Nick sensed my frustration, came over a few hours later and discovered my shutoff valve was UNDER the sink. I knew the delivery men would NOT install the new refrigerator unless there was a shutoff valve behind the refrigerator. All I had was an electrical outlet. Nick also discovered and showed me a lot of corrosion with the garbage disposaI, shutoff valves, and plumbing in general. This was a blessing in disguise as I could have ended up with an unexpected major water leak down the road. Nick gave me a very reasonable quote for the entire job and would have it done first thing in the morning. One of his workers arrived on time, greeted me in such a warm, reassuring way (Nick obviously advised him I had been through the wringer) and prepped the job. Nick showed up to make sure I was comfortable and knew we needed to complete the entire job before the refrigerator installers arrived. He treated his two workers with such respect, guidance, and leadership. They also added an extra shutoff valve to the hose leading to the refrigerator. The installers arrived just as the plumbers were leaving. Nick spoke to them to make certain all was good before he left. You don't find this kind of service every day. They do have polite people and do decent work but I did not have a good experience with their repair business. An annual inspection turned up a couple of small problems - low refrigerant in a system and a nearly failed condenser fan in another. No argument with that conclusion so I said go ahead with fixes. Got the invoice and should have paid more attention - a price gouge of epic proportions. Here's what I sent them that got rejected by their system: PS - registered professional engineer who should have paid more attention. 'I was not here when this work was finished, and I have no issue at all with the technician and work performed. He was professional. I agreed to all of the work. But I regret now not doing additional homework on the cost. A one pound 410a add should cost more like $100 at the high end all in. Easy to find on google or Yelp), given you can get a 25 lb Jug in the range of $250. And yes, there is labor and overhead in that , but for for a 30 minute job $325 seems excessive. I also was able to source the replacement fan motor with an identical Lennox model# from a number of sources- from around $200. Again, that doesn't include labor. So if I'm generous, you got $300 in parts, add 20% for miscellaneous. And yes, I get that there is 'Bob's guarantee' and you have overhead, but an 1800+ bill for less than two labor hours of work, make it 3 with travel time and even at 150 per hour - and maybe 450 in parts and material -the total markup at 2x is to me excessive. Plus your billing is deficient in the level of detail so it's even hard to understand how you could add it up to that much. My wife paid the bill of course, but with these prices even though the service is good I won't be using or recommending Bobs for repairs in the future. I'll do my homework.' PS - last postscript. You may have noticed Bob's no longer responds to Yelp reviews. Must be too busy. Or they don't care. Neither one is a good sign.

Highly Recommend Uncle E's Plumbing! We recently decided to upgrade our driveway, and knowing we'd be starting from scratch, we also chose to replace our aging water main and sewer line. Thank goodness we did! It turns out our water main had a leak, and the sewer line had a pinhole leak as well - disasters averted! Darrel and B from Uncle E's Plumbing were fantastic. Darrel was incredibly helpful and informative, walking us through the process and answering all our questions with professionalism. He even explained the importance of getting the proper permits, which some of our neighbors had told us to skip. He really put our minds at ease and ensured everything was done by the book. I had a bad valve in shower, no hot water. Uncle E's plumber Dennis Jones came out. He was very professional and very thorough and Honest! He took all the time necessary to show me what the problem was and what he would do. After spending a few minutes with him I knew this guy was really honest and I really liked him! I gave them the job and he did exactly what he said he would do and in the exact amount of time! Finding honesty anymore is not easy, but Dennis exceeded my expectations! I worked in construction for 35 years and he is the best contractor I have ever met! For the amount of work he had to do I really feel the cost was well worth it. The plumbing work at your home was completed as contracted, including the sewer line replacement from the house to the curb and the interior repiping that was agreed upon. At one point during the project, you shared concerns about being able to complete payment. In response, our Operations Manager proactively reached out to work with you on a payment plan, which was agreed to as half due at one appointment and the remaining balance due upon completion of the job. At no time did our team intend to leave your home unsafe or unfinished, and we take allegations regarding safety very seriously. If there is any remaining concern or item you believe needs clarification, we welcome the opportunity to review it directly and resolve it professionally. We are a family-owned, veteran-owned Las Vegas plumbing company, and we operate with integrity, transparency, and respect for all customers. At no time did they take responsibility for the four week job that was contracted to be completed in two weeks, people talk, the allegation of safety was a real event, your plumber saw me fall into the hole and didn't help me get out, he pretended not to see me, I went to the emergency for x-rays and pain meds, your plumber will eventually talk, he will say something to someone, and my allegations as you put it will be validated, the work has since been completed and I have been able to finally finish putting the house back together

When our hot water heater failed, Chance quickly assessed the issue by having our tenant send photos. He was able to determine that the leak was coming from the unit itself (not the pipes), which saved valuable time and avoided unnecessary delays. Although the initial installation timeline was about two days, I shared that our tenants have small children and asked if there was any chance for an earlier opening. They went above and beyond, contacting us the very next afternoon after they finished early for the day, and were able to complete the replacement ahead of schedule. Their pricing was transparent, the installation was efficient, and their communication was outstanding. We received updates via text, email, and phone. Michael sent a photo after the work was completed and also made it easy to handle payment remotely. Most importantly,I felt confident that they were taking great care of our tenants in our absence. It's rare to find this level of professionalism, service and integrity and I recommend them with complete confidence.
