    Boba and soups

Ufff finally a place around here with delicious Asian food options. Environment: Clean, open and well decorated. Service: Due to this restaurant just opening I'm not going to ding this too hard. However, servers definitely need more training on the menu and how to properly describe the items. Most of the servers are college students so no issue there just some training is needed. Otherwise professional. Food: We had the combination fried rice and it was okay but lack just a tiny bit of more flavor or salt. The seaweed salad was delicious and fresh. The hot and sour soup was the best in this area. The egg drop soup can be improved but wasn't terrible. The crab tempura and spicy shrimp sushi was our favorite. Top notch and scrumptious. We tried a plethora of small plates like Bao buns, shrimp dumplings, both hot sour soup and egg drop. The seaweed salad was fresh with great flavor! All the food was presented very beautifully and the taro bobas were great! Overall, super excited to come back and support this business. The owners were very kind and the atmosphere was fresh and clean.

Friendly staff, spacious restaurant, and very extensive menu. Food was ok but seemed pre-made rather than fresh. I hope they eventually narrow down the menu a bit and focus more on the quality of the dishes.

Food wasn't very good at all, and we tried several options but nothing was good. Service was good though

Red bowl was so close by and I placed an online order about an hour before hand. Their sushi rolls are delicious and totally reasonable. I will say, I am Not a fan of their boba. Too artificial tasting and the tapioca pearls are chewy. Causal restaurant with some business over the weekend with a few customers dining in.

The server was totally out of touch with the menu and how to put an order into the kitchen. I ordered an item and asked for it "extra spicy." She kept asking me if I want a number 13 and if I want some kind of pepper. I had a difficult time understanding her. I order this each time I dine here and never have had a problem. I finally was exhausted dealing with her and went over and explained to the manager what I wished. I thought he figured it out, but when I received my food, learned differently. The food was not the least bit spicy. The rice was stuck together in clumps, as if it had been in a bowl for some time. The temperature if the food was not a hot as usual. They had "love song radio" playing, like this is a romantic place. I will consider other options next time I desire Asian food. Sorry, Redbowl, you really let me down.

I liked the addition of panko breadcrumbs for crunch, but I wish the imitation crab meat had been shredded more finely for better texture. For my entree, I ordered the Spicy Basil Crispy Duck (added $1 for Thai spicy). They definitely delivered on the spicy level, but the duck itself was not crispy. It came with rice and bell peppers and basil. The sushi tasted fresh, which was good. Service could use some improvement. We had to ask for small bowls for soy sauce, and when we requested a dessert menu to celebrate the birthday, we were told the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had given us a heads up before the kitchen closed. The ambiance is cozy. It almost feels like dining in someone's house. They had Halloween decorations up and murals of historic Frederick painted on the walls. They also have a private parking lot, which made it convenient. Overall, food was good, but a little more attentiveness from the staff would've made the experience even better.
